Now I'm really worried! If none of you have any experience you can relate, does that mean these rooms are so noisy none of you will stay in them?!? Yikes:confused:

We just booked the Freedom for the Eastern Caribbean from January 1-8 with a group of friends. They booked cabins on deck 8 forward. We chose to book directly and chose cabin 6487 because of the extended balcony. While it's fun going with friends, it will be nice having a place to hang out for some alone time.
I've searched through the threads and read a fair bit about the aft cabins--some of it contradictory which is to be expected since everything here is just someone's opinion. That being said, I do value the input! :)
What I'm still a bit uncertain about is the noise level. We are above the International Aft Lounge. There seems to be music scheduled in there every night until midnight. I've read that the cabins just forward of us are noisy. From what I can see of the deck plans, it looks like the lounge ends right where or near where our cabins begin. Does that sound right? There aren't any open windows from the lounge, are there? So most of the noise comes up through the floor.
OK, I know I'm rambling. If you have stayed in these cabins, I'd really appreciate some feedback on the noise levels. The balcony looks awesome, but I'm a bit confused about the level of noise to expect.
Thanks for your input--it is appreciated!
