Hi all, I hear that BA missed GSC this week, and I wanted to know if anyone is on the ship now & can say why. Or, has this happened to anyone recently? (I saw previous posts about this but from years ago.) Extra day in Nassau? Or another sea day? Are we compensated in any way? (I was looking forward to seeing GSC very much, and would be totally bummed if we missed it.... it's one of the main reasons I booked this cruise.) Thanks!

Hi all - I'm trying to search for actual reviews of this company. (It's a bit cheaper to book through them vs the resort itself.) Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this company?

We are behind you by a few weeks on the BA and insured, not going to cancel either - plan for the worst & hope for the best ... Nassau & GSC being a popular stop. But, Irma has a mind of her own - until it passed over Bahamas - nothing can be certain.

 

Making a wild guess - still 2 to 3 weeks out, BA could do Bermuda, which would be nice ... if Jose & others don't visit. Dawn is still sailing to BDA but assuming Dockyard is available (might not, taken by other lines, etc.) IMO, should be less moaning & groaning than a N.E. Canada run (have a feeling foilage will be early this year).

I'm on the 10/8 BA sailing, and was wondering the same thing "where will we end up?"

Are there any articles of what has happened in the past? Obviously, I'm hoping for a tropical destination (as opposed to Canada.) So sad this is happening, and really praying these hurricanes just disappear into the sea without anymore destruction!

OK, so I just called & spoke with Steve. He advised that if I were to rebook at the current prices, that yes, I would have to go with the promo the way it is now (and lose the promo perks I had). The difference between the promo & perks was about $9.... not worth it for me to change my booking. He did advise however, that after I make my final payment, if the price drops, he can make an adjustment (OBC) or an upgrade. This surprised me..... who knew??

So I tried to search through the forums and can't seem to get a solid answer.

I didn't make my final payment yet. (I got the UBP free, and free taxes/port fees when I booked). I see that the price has gone down. Do I email and ask for an adjustment? Will I lose my perks? Has anyone actually gone through this before? TIA

So I went to STEP and registered my stops on my cruise, and then I clicked "finished". It just brought me to the home page. No "thanks for registering", no email to confirm I registered.... is that it?
