  1. Just got off of Harmony on Saturday and Wonderland was one of the top highlights of my cruise. It was wonderful in every way. The food was unique and delicious and the service was excellent. I loved every moment. We liked it so much we were thinking of going a second night but decided not to spoil ourselves too much.

My suggestion is to let the server pick the appetizers for you. They will take your preferences into consideration. Let this be a journey as it is designed to be. You will have a great time as long as you are open to it and are not a picky eater. [emoji4]

(also I suggest trying the Oceanic Citrus and the Apple dessert. Yum!)

We are from Los Angeles and have been to Mr Chow, a restaurant where the waiter picks your meal. We've also been to Barton G LA. It quite the "experience"! I am a "picky" eater though, so this worries me. If we don't like it can we get our $$ back???

  2. Thank you! I was thinking of doing the BOGO 2 package. But then if 1 of the restaurants rccl picks for us isn't Wonderland I will be upset.

We went to Wonderland as part of our 5 night package last month. The restaurant was very pretty and the service was excellent. The chocolate dessert was very good.

However....the rest of the meal was not good....very unique in presentation but did not taste good at all. We had to go to WJ after.

If we would have paid the $49 charge we would have been very unhappy.

As they say, to each his own. Who knows, you may like it! Happy Anniversary and Happy cruising!

  3. We don't need to make calls but would love to be able to text each other while onboard the biggest ship in the world! We all have iPhones. I don't wanna purchase any wifi plans onboard Harmony. Will whattsapp be good to use or some other platform?

  4. Let me start by saying, in 10 cruises we've NEVER done any specialty dining! Simply don't believe in it, since I've already paid for my all-inclusive vacation, I think it's insulting to upcharge me for dining. With that being said, we are sailing on Harmony of the Seas on 12/2/17. It's our 20th wedding anniversary, we are taking our twins who are 13. So to me to seems like a regular family vacation. I read a few fabulous reviews on Wonderland & I must say, my curiosity has been peaked! I'm thinking of booking Wonderland for just the 2 of us one night & a couples massage earlier that day. The YouTube videos and reviews I've read seem like it'll be a fun, unique experience. For those who've been, would you eat at Wonderland again? I don't eat seafood or pork, will I leave there still hungry? Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.:D

  5. Booked a GTY outside balcony on Harmony of Seas about 2 wks ago, still waiting for assignment. So I called today, suspense was killing me! They’ve put us in 10586, 12/2/17 is our sailing. Hope this will work for us and our 2 teens. We’ve booked GTYs before, but only for me and my wife. Only had 1 bad experience on NCLs Norway. The First room we were assigned had 2 twin beds that were on the wall, elevated like top bunks! I told them I was scared of heights. They moved us to a room with 2 lower beds that did NOT convert to a king.

  6. Thanks so much for your responses. What I failed to mention was that I was trying to book online through priceline from my iPhone, while at work last night. And this morn when I on this board it was also from my iPhone. Well, I'm home now and tried booking again on priceline, from my desktop. I was able to book a minivan for $60 to get us to the boat and another for $96 to get us back to MCO. Had I not read these boards I'd have never thought of using priceline!! This has saved us a considerable amount of money. The above prices are from Budget Rental car, through Priceline website and include all taxes/fees.

  7. We sail on Jan 4 on the Disney Magic. I've reserved several rental cars to get us from MCO to cruise ship. I have NOT found any good rates! In fact they are astronomical for example, $186 for a one-way rental to PC and $233 for the return trip back to MCO!! The reserved vehicles are minivans. It's 4 of us traveling. My wife and twins, 10 yrs old. This is our first time leaving out of PC, but our 2nd Disney cruise. I don't want to pay this much for ground transportation. Any help with finding lower rates is appreciated. I Looked into Priceline car rentals (tip from this thread) but maybe I was doing something wrong because I could not see rates it said something was wrong with my location. Maybe it was because of the one-way rental. At this late date maybe I can still book a limo or shuttle. But wanted the convenience of driving my family, especially on the return. Our flight is at 7pm & wanted to see the city a bit as we've never been to Orlando.

  8. Just booked myself, wife, & 2 kids (age 6) on the Splendor. Our sailing date is 1/2/11. I'm very excited. We've NEVER been on a Carnival cruise before and we've NEVER taken our kids with us. This will be our first cruise in over 7 yrs! We've been on RCCL, NCL, Celebrity, & Princess. With RCCL being our favorite, followed by Princess & NCL. We liked Celebrity least. We've sailed this Mexican Riviera itinerary 3 times previously. Any other families on board with small kids?
