I just got off the Fantasy last Thursday. It was the 5 day to Costa Maya and Cozumel and I do have the Fun

Times.

 

I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to post them but if you have any specific questions, I would be happy to

try and answer them.

 

I've been contemplating doing a review, but just did one for the Magic in February and they are so time

consuming. I'll probably do one though because I so enjoy all the information I get when I read them here

on CC.

We're thinking of renting a car at Amber Cove, wondering if anyone has done this? We have rented cars in other ports with no problems. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Did they offer any "group rates/discount" since you have a large group?

The email was the price quoted, no discount. It looks beautiful but almost 400 for are 6 of the group just seems too steep for me. Maybe if it was just myself and DH.

I'm looking for any info on whether it's cost efficient to rent a driver for 8 people for the day or just do taxis. Usually we rent a Jeep but we have 8 people this time and that won't work. we plan on the beach for awhile(haven't decided which one yet) and then ending at senor frogs 1/2

One story is years ago on I think The Holiday. They were doing the Limbo and there were 2 "ladies" participating who decided underwear just wasn't their thing and didn't seem to care either. Needless to say my step-father took A lot of pictures of that contest!!

the 2nd is something I did last year in Cost Maya. Me and DH spent the day at an AI resort and let's just say I was feeling no pain whatsoever. We got back to port where they had a pool. I walked into the pool with my drink in hand not realizing or probably just too drunk to notice there was a big drop off step. Well I slipped right under the water but with drink in hand and my floppy hat on. Didn't spill drop or lose hat. Husband said it was hilarious. For the rest of the cruise other passengers would tease me about it. but hey I had a great time
