  1. We just got off recently on the Panorama.  I prepared my bags in the morning and the cabin steward just picked it up when he cleaned our room.  I got it the same day.  He would deliver it around 6:30-7pm.  I had to ask for the bags because there weren't any in the room.  This time though I didn't have to fill out the paperwork of what items I was getting laundered.  I did count my items though.  They came back with the count written on the bottom corner of the bag.  I did two bags one on Monday and the second on Thursday. My husband only sent out one.

  2. We usually pick 10am-10:30am arrival time at Long Beach.  We still see people coming out of the terminal at that time.  Usually they start boarding at 11am. That's been my two experiences with the Panorama. It's arrived as early as 6am and start clearance to disembark at 7am.  We are getting on the Panorama again this weekend and I have the 10-10:30 arrival once again.  We'll see how long it takes them to clear the ship since it's Spring Break time.

  3. I only use cash for my cruise account.  I use the kiosk once I get on board.  I put in a little at a time and see how far that goes so that I won't have any credit left.  But if I see near the last two days of the cruise I still have a lot left.  I try to shop at the gift shop or use it in the casino.  If I want to get my money back, luckily I'm Platinum and I cash out on the last night at Guest Services.

  4. We cruise out of Long Beach quite often.  I think the current rate is $23 a day for parking. But we somehow don't seem to have to pay since we're usually the first ones off the ship and the garage attendants at the booth aren't quite ready for payment and they just let us go through.   We usually have the earliest arrival time around 10 am and that usually is when the previous cruise is debarking.  We always manage to find parking in the first two levels of the parking garage. We will be on the 3/18/23 cruise.

  5. My husband and I did it in August on the Panorama.  It was our first time doing Chef's Table.  We are foodies so we found it really good.  They were small portions.  I was still hungry afterwards so we went up for pizza. I'd probably try it again if I were to go on Mardi Gras.   I think the menu is the same fleet wide.

  6. I've gotten a few upgrade offers for my May 2020 Panorama cruise. I took the last upgrade from interior to OV front. I had one last month to move to Balcony. I passed.  I just received another email for another upgrade to another OV but in the AFT. I'm going to pass since I get seasick in the back of the ship.  But yes I've gotten quite a few upgrades for this Panorama cruise.

  7. I just came back from my first B2B on the Magic this past Sunday.  We had to move to a different cabin the second leg.  Our cabin steward moved our luggage for us.  But we carried our valuables with us when we went to wait to clear customs and get our new Sail & Sign cards.  Also when we went to see our new room our luggage was there but it wasn't quite ready. Our new steward came by and said she still needed to vacuum.  So we went to grab some lunch and came back a little later.

  8. Did you get an email from Carnival about this?  I only found out about it through Cruise Critic.  I am on this cruise which is the first leg of my B2B.  I would've been freaking out when I got to the port and I was too early and no one was there.  Especially since I bought FTTF.  But I did read someone else called Carnival and was told boarding will start at least 2pm I think.

  9. You may get some more offers.  Last year when I booked my cruise for this May, two weeks later I received upgrades from Cove balcony to a regular balcony on higher decks. I took it.  Then another two months later, I received another offer but declined.  Today I just got another email to move up one deck higher for $26 but I declined since I'm doing a back to back and I want to stay on the same floor as my second leg which is only an interior room.  But I would gladly take an offer for my interior room to a balcony if offered again.

  10. Yes they do. I don't like taking medication. So I use the bands and this ointment called Motion Eaze that I get from Walmart. You just put it behind your earlobes. It works instantly if you are feeling queasy. You can order the bands from Amazon or if you have A Container store near you. They have their own version there.

  11. I would bring plenty of sunscreen because you need to put it on everyday. I say at least 10-15 bottles to go around for everybody. Especially if laying out on Lido deck. Just for myself and my husband I bring 3 cans just in case. You get in the water and you reapply again even if says waterproof. I don't like seeing those other cruisers who look like lobsters. We were just on the Triumph and we saw plenty of them bright red.
