Hi DB, after a back-to-back cruise you need to return to work just to stay grounded, lol. Thanks for the info regarding the LGBT meetings we’ll just have to see how it works out but it seems X has a solid following. This being our first Celebrity cruise we’re really looking forward to the experience.

We we thinking of Island House in KW (the day pass is 30.00). Do be sure to let us know if you decide to try one and your experience. We’ve visited KW before so the Conch train is out.

This will be our first cruise with Celebrity. Any other gay cruisers onboard?

My partner and I will be taking our first Celebrity cruise with this sailing. We’ve previously sailed with Carnival (15 times) and Princess (1 time). Does Celebrity have a strong gay following? Is the LGBT gatherings actively attended?

On a side note we were thinking of getting a day pass at one of the Key West guest houses. Any thoughts?

Go to the shore excursion desk when you board. There is a chance someone may cancel. Let them know you would like a cabana if one opens up. Also, if there are any of the villas available, they are amazing. You can check roll calls or facebook groups to see if anyone wants to split one with you.

Just a general question although I'm afraid I already know the answer...

We are cruising to Half Moon Cay Oct 11 2015 and wanted to rent a Cabana and found they are all taken. What are the chances of one becoming available during the cruise? Anyone heard of this happening at all?

Is there a standby list on the off-chance someone did decide they weren't going to be able to use it (illness maybe :eek:, missed port :mad:, etc) even if Carnival didn't give them a refund?

Still an optimist after all these years.

Hi Ryan and Jim - we (John and Bruce) will be on this sailing. This will be our 12th cruise with Carnival, third on Fantasy. We're locals so it's an easy trip. Won't be long now.

Hi Mike, name's John, partner's name is Bruce - together 20 years. We just booked this cruise as well. First time for us on Celebrity and we can hardly wait. It IS going to be a very long year. Glad to see someone is as anxious as ourselves to get the cruise started. It'll be interesting to see how many other folks respond to youur post.

No idea yet as to excursions or specialty restaurants but we definitely got the beverage package, lol.
