So now curious ... is there anything wrong with these cabins for any reason.

Been to Barcelona a few times and main thing to do is the City itself, so many things to see and do. If already done then yes for sure go to Montserrat.

Deck - 8

Cabin # - 8306

Class – Solstice

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – At certain times we could hear "rolling thunder" like the metal carts either close by or above our heads. No sounds after 11pm.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – clear view with tender boats a few levels down.

Balcony Size? Normal

Was wind a problem? Only if balcony door not totally locked properly.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin?

Any other comments?

OMG ... we are looking at Sept 29th and now after looking at these pictures and comments need to get down to business and book soon.

When is school in for everyone in US / Canada? LOL

Our Thanksgivings are different, our Spring breaks are all over the calender from late Feb - Apr. Many farm districts have their break when they can get students to help to start working the soil. Sorry, just being the devils advocate. These days parents dont think twice about pulling their kids out so school.

One time I think is would be good is right after Labour Day as all schools will be in then or should be.

We just went Mar 27th on Celebrity and we didnt see many children and we had the late seating and there were no children in our eyescan anyway. The only children we were up close and active with were the two that pulled a button out of the leather sofa in the Cafe while the parents were up getting their coffee. Kids played on it and used the buttons as hand holds to climb up it. We tried to entice them down but they didnt listen and only when the botton popped did they for a second think maybe they were in trouble.

Quiet Cabin – yes

Balcony View - tender boat fully outside balcony up to knee level appr. Not an issue for me, could see right across it but not down. First night we had the Allure right across from us very late at night so I got some very nice picutres. 6197 has a view in between the boats as does I think 6191.

Balcony Size? - normal

Was wind a problem? no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? Had a few problems with lock trying to get in and then totally got locked inside. We called down and they had to replace the whole lock as it was damaged inside. Humorous story to tell.

Any other comments? Mid ship, close to ILounge and elevators. Easy to walk down one or two floors to restaurant or theatre. I would book this cabin again.

Dolly ..... well this post is well over a year old and cant tell you how wonderful that link was to pictures of the Solstice and the menus foremost.

I was going to post a question about the menus and decided to do a search instead and this message popped up.
