I’m confused. A deck 2 suite on the Horizon would be a Family Harbor suite; these rooms have balconies. Actually, all suites on any ship have balconies.
I didn’t think the family harbor suites had balconies. I will double check, thank you for pointing that out.

Im having a scheduling issue and I need to change my cruise by one week. I currently have 2 Havana balcony cabins on deck 5 booked. I was thrilled to get these cabins. They are not available on the new cruise dates. My question is if I wait until final payment is there a chance these rooms will become available. The cruise I will be switching to is the horizon 8 day (Jan 25, 2020). It seems to be getting full. I tried booking a suite but could only get a suite on deck 2, I need a balcony.
There are 4 of us - me, hubby and 2 teens. I don’t think I can share a room with them
any help would be appreciated!!!

I'm in Canada. Normally when travelling I get a package through my phone carrier for that country. Do I still need to get a Caribbean package?

I was wondering the same thing. I've always booked once onboard. Hopefully someone can help us!

We cruise a lot with my son who is 12 and has autism. We have used autism on the seas and we've used carnivals disability department. Both have been great.
When we arrive they get us on the ship asap. They were so kind. The lady helping us held my sons hand and made it a game. We go to a quite room for muster drill.
The dining room as always accommodated us. I ask for a table for 4 and in a certain location. Which for us means tucked away for us. No one would normally want these tables but work great for us.
Camp is ready for us as well. There are forms you can fill out prior. They will give you a ship phone like they do for the young ones in case there's an issue.
At ports we always leave later for ease.
They are so great and it's the only type of vacation we will take now because they are so accommodating.
We are going on our 5th cruise in February on the sunshine.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Can anyone help me, I am looking for a room with a large balcony on the carnival breeze. I thought I saw a video somewhere with a balcony that had loungers and room for a table with 4 chairs. Does anyone know if this exists?
Thanks!

It was a little confusing because hyatt place Fort Lauderdale 17th st convention center is the one I picked but it's not on 17th st. It's on 10th ave.
-
Ok I'm going to book with hyatt place. I think it will work for us. Any they have suites.
Thanks everyone!!!

Hyatt house has no vacancies.

I like Larry's limo service. It's about $100 if I remember correctly.
I have found taking a cab or private car service works best for us!
-
Thank you
I like the hyatt house and the idea of us all together. It's not letting me book the trio room online with 7 people. When I do 4 people that trio room comes up. Strange. Anyways I will call! Thanks

We normally stay at embassy suites in Fort Lauderdale but it's showing no vacancies.
We are flying into Fll and cruising out of Pom. I would prefere to stay in Fll the night before. We need a hotel with a suite as there is 5 of us in one room (2 in another)
I'm not overly concerned with transportation. Once I have a room I will likely call Larry's limo service.
I would like a hotel with a pool and breakfast in the am. I would also like a store within walking distance.
We arrive on January 10th
I've been reading these boards like crazy and my head is spinning.
Please help me decide. I swear I had an easier time deciding on which cruise to take.
Thanks

Wish I had been able to book es when I booked our jan cruise. Some great savings!

I should clarify it's the airlines not the cruise lines causing the damage.

I travel with it but for a different reason, my luggage never seems to make it in one piece an I have to make repairs!

Learning how to do towel animals, they love reading the fun times before bed and highlighting what they want to do the next day.
There's so many things and every cruise they find something new!

As I recall they are cake cones, right? I'd be with him if they were waffle or sugar cones, but I don't think I would eat a cake cone without ice cream.
Oh I agree, not a lot of taste to them! I used cones to help with teething and it stuck!
-
My son doesn't like ice cream, but he loves just eating the cones!

Last cruise was about $1000. Cruise before that was about $500. Thats not including gratuity or excursions.
I do enjoy the spa though so as others have proven it can be done for a lot less!
Have fun!

we have done many cruises with our asd son. we use autism on the seas. we have done muster drill with everyone (when he's been able to handle it) and we have also done it in our cabin. this was on carnival. we are given a print out of the instructions and told to go to our cabin and review it.

we always bring a bungie cord with us to hold the balcony door open!
as someone else mentions the camp carnival phones are great to call the room or another person in your party with one!
a power bar is another good item with camera, ipods, ds's etc. there's never enough outlets
