thanks Steeragejoe. I appreciated the links. We rent from Budget on the way down so we have a car for dinner pre-cruise. On the way home after we disembark we use a shuttle. We usually don't pay more than $18.00 a person for that.

Got an email from Carnival stating not to show up to the port before 1 PM for the sailing of the Sunshine this Friday. We have always been in line to get on our Carnival Cruises by 11:30. Is this a new thing or are they just trying to have people not arrive so early? Thanks in advance for the help.

We are going on the Sunshine on the 23rd of October. We're flying in the night before and getting a car to go from MCO to our hotel near Port Canaveral. Here's my question...does anyone know if the car rental return places then shuttle you to the port like they do at the Port of Miami?

We will be boarding the Pearl two weeks from today. I know what the printed materials say, but I am interested in knowing the earliest time previous cruisers have been able to get on board this particular ship. Thank you.

Years ago, we got off our ship at POM, went to a hotel in FLL near the airport and checked out later in the day to catch our late evening flight. They let us pay a partial day as we left by 4 PM. I can't recall what hotel it was. Can anyone help or do you know of any hotels near airport where we could stay and pay to hang out at the pool and shower?
