Has anyone stayed in these rooms since they put the club up above these rooms? It would seem to me you would hear alot of noise. I haven't read any reviews on these rooms. Can anyone who have stayed in these rooms since her dry dock give me some feedback?

Does anyone have any idea when Disney will release the Fall cruising dates? I was hoping the Magic would sail out of New York in 2018, but I see it is in Europe and not sailing back till September.Any thoughts?

Thank you Moki, I understand now. That would work for me as I don't need that big a room and it would save me money..

Thanks Moki but I can't seem to find where to look Are these rooms on the same floor as concierge? I'm looking to book a one bedroom suite for my daughter's family and me and my husband next to them but maybe in a concierge family room for us. Would I be considered concierge level and be able to go with them to lounge, etc? I could save money that way as we don't need a big room but I want to be with them.

I just noticed the Magic has added a concierge family room with veranda. . I cruised her in October and they did not have that category. Can any body tell me what amenities come with that room? Is it the same as one bedroom suites? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you so much Bob. I've already sent the email. I knew someone would know! Thanks again

Does anybody know the email for the concierge on Anthem. I'm in a Royal suite and no one has reached out to me. We sail in a week. The staff on the phones are absolutely useless.
Can anyone help me out?

We were there in October,no issues. I brought the sea safe just in case.

The noise I had on Magic, room 8080 was periodic. Started between 10 pm until 12pm. Not all the time. Sounded like a cart rolling and scrapping of chair. Sometimes jumping up and down. One night I heard around 3 am.Hotel supervisor had chairs and tables roped off between 10pm to 7am in morning. Helped on some nights. I even went up one night to investigate . Could find nothing. Everyone on staff was aware of problem and tried their best. I'm a light sleeper. My daughter and her family had room 8078 and experienced the same. Didn't affect the kids or them much. I guess I'm the complainer! I spoke to others in concierge, seems we all had some sort of noise from above.I feel our rooms were the least noisy ( some heard music, others ping pong playing, scraping of chairs etc.) To be honest the concierge perks for me with my grand kids was worth the noise.I would do it again. Hope I helped.

I had a room purifier as I have issues with the air on the ship. It was noisy but not enough to drown out the noise. Everyone on board was involved to try to find the noise.. As I said before they really tried everything . It was strange as some nights it woke me up, and other nights not. My daughter was in room next to us and had issues also. Fortunately it didn't bother the kids and didn't bother them as much as me. Being a light sleeper is lousy!!!

I sort of agree, but my only option is cruising out of N.Y. I will not fly with the little kids, way to stressful. I enjoyed concierge very much. I guess I will rebook the same rooms when it is time. I feel midship and forward have their own problems. After talking with the concierge guests, I feel I had the better room with the least noise. I guess I'll bring earplugs!! Thanks everybody. I really appreciate the feedback.

Thanks Belle. What is above the 2 bedroom suites? Did you have any issues with being forward on Magic. Sometimes it can be rocky. I really appreciate your feedback. Everyone is so helpful.

Thanks Moki. We were aft under the beverage station. Concierge did everything possible to eliminate the noise. I really give them credit. One night I even went upstairs and could not find where the noise was coming from. Some nights quiet others not so. I guess after speaking with other concierge guests. I had the better of the rooms. Do you think a 2 bedroom would be quieter?

I just cruised on the Magic out of New York. I must say it was a great cruise. The grandkids had a wonderful time.Concierge was great. Only problem, noise from above. I'm planning another one in 2018 if Magic goes out of N.Y. My question, we were in 8078, 8080 any suggestions from cruisers who have cruised concierge on any quieter rooms? I got spoiled and will only cruise concierge. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Should be Pier 88. We sailed from there on Oct. 15. We had such a good time. Enjoy.

Thanks Moki for the info. I was shooting for11:00, but expect to hit a wait line at the pier. Alot hinges on how fast my daughter and her family will be ready to leave. Getting three kids out the door takes time. I was hoping someone who is cruising out of NY before us could leave some feedback on times.

Hi ex techie, we are being drivin to port by a service. We live about an hour and a half away.
-
I agree with you also. I really don't know when to arrive at the port. If it was my husband and I, I would get there early. With 3 kids I'm not so sure. Anyone know if there is concierge lounge at this pier? Hope someone who will be going out of this port leaves some feedback.

I know it is very crowded down at New York pier as we have cruised out of there before. Yes I think we will get there around 11:30. Thanks
-
Thank you ExTechie. I just thought arriving early would be better. I will take your advice and keep in touch with coccierge.

Our cruise is coming up soon and concierge keeps telling us to get there at11:30. I have cruised many different cruise lines and we always get there around 10:30 and board pretty quick. I don't want to get there late as I would like to be one of first ones on board. We have 2and half year old twins and a 6 year old. Needless to say don't want to get there too early and wait outside! Any thoughts from those that have cruised Disney before?
-
Thank you Tiger Lady for the info. One more question. Can you get two lounge chairs next to the bed, and do you have an attendant?
-
we will be in Coco cay in February and are interested in either the beach cabana or beach bed. Has anyone rented either of these? If so which one did you like better. Tough time making a decision here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone for all the advice. So glad I don't have to worry about carting antibiotics . The 6 year old does have allergies. Unfortunately "dust mites" We know they are everywhere , so try to keep everything as clean as can be. Am so looking forward to the cruise( October out of N.Y.) Hopefully everybody will be healthy.

Looking to get in touch with concierge before our cruise. Sometimes I don't hear from them as I'm supposed to. If anyone knows their email address please let me know. We are cruising March 1. Thanks
