Hi everyone,
I have not been on Princess before and we will be on the Royal on our 16th wedding anniversary this August. We would like to have a special meal just the two of us without our children, somewhere special. I know it is personal taste but where would people recommend?
thanks

Thank you guys. I did indeed mean Aug 2017 (!) and I guess it is our TA who has confused us by saying we would need check back in. I think they just actually just don't know.
Glad to hear that it is just a normal port day.

Hi everyone
Can someone help? We have never done a b2b before (Royal Princess, 12 August 2016) and I am curious as to the format of the crossover day. I know we have to re check in and I assume muster (?) and that as we are in the same cabin we don't have to move our luggage.
However, we are in Rome that day and I really want to do an excursion. Is this still possible? Do we have to wait to check out as though we are actually disembarking for good? Just a bit confused as to how this all works.
Any advice/info from all the more experienced cruisers would be great.
thanks

Eclipse Baltic cruise June July 2016
Im happy to answer any questions regarding our cruise.
Jen
Hi Jen, thanks for that, lots of good tips re the ports. Can you tell me how dressed up some people got on the chic elegant nights? I don't mind how anyone is dressed but just wondering if I will feel out of place if I dress in a long dress and husband in a dinner jacket?
thanks
Jackie

We love these, happy to dress up or down as the line expects. Does anyone know if dinner jackets are the thing or too dressy? As I say, dh has one, happy to wear it but doesn't want to pack it if not needed.
Many thanks
