You could probably just be in the last group off the 1st cruise then go to the 2nd berth & drop your bags
You can check here to see what berth the ship will be at
Thanks! I'll check it out.

I've booked a TA on Carribean Princess that will arrive in SH on 5/19/24. Then will leave SH same day on Sky Princess for Norway/Denmark. I'm told this is called a 'side by side' cruise. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do from the time I get off first ship until I can get on the 2nd ship? Anywhere to leave my luggage? Can I walk to anywhere close to the port for any sightseeing? Thanks in advance.

MSC is refusing to allow a single to book a cabin on their ships. You can go on and book a cruise and there are lots of cabins available, but then backup and change the passenger to one and it says no cabins available!!! It will not let you boo a cabin even if you pay double the rate!!!! Have heard they want more people on board to buy drinks and spend money, We usually book 7-9 cabins and one s a single with the others with 2-3 in a cabin and many are 1 or 2 cruises from black status.. If they will not allow singles, they will lose all our bookings for the other cabins. Shame on you MSC Looks like discrimination!
It could be a glitch. I booked a single cabin for a May TA. No problem.

I cruise Princess solo regularly. Have never been charged a double deposit.

I just watched an online "tour' of Riviera river cruises yesterday. I was impressed by what they offer for solo cruisers. A certain percentage of solo cabins on every cruise and some cruises are for solo cruisers only. Rooms are larger than those found on Viking and they go into ports that are closer to embarkation and debarkation airports. Definitely worth checking out.

Solo Balcony on MSC Divina (12% supplement)
Transatlantic 25 nights MIA to Rome IT
May 15-June 9 2023
$1442 + $480 port/taxes
LABOR DAY SALE NOW includes $500 OBC for balcony and above (per cabin-not person)
There are similar solo specials for shorter MSC TA cruises that leave on 5/15 from MIA, as well.

*****.com is a great website to use. It's easy to use too for solos.

Does anyone have a preferred dining room on Princess Regal: Concerto or Allegro? If so, why? Are there any differences? Thank you

Does anyone know the cruise start date for Vista? I don't seem to find it on their website.

We are sailing, first time, on the NCL Breakaway in 5 days. Saw something about having coffee pots in the cabins. I've searched the boards and cannot find the type of device they have. Can someone help please? Is it a pod type? Keurig or something else? A regular pot maker? Do we need to bring our own coffee or will the steward provide? If so, what type do they have? We aren't 'coffee snobs' but love our Starbucks. Thank you!

Hi,
We are staying at the Princess Riverside Lodge in Anchorage for 3 nights beginning next weekend before land-cruise portion of our trip begins. We'd like to do alittle shopping at a grocery store beforehand. Does anyone know if a shuttle or reasonably priced car rental is available for a day?
I have searched several websites but haven't found cars for less than $100/day, which sounds steep to me.
Suggestions appreciated.

Thank you, Roothy123. We'll be on the Riviera for 10 days in May--Venice to Athens and can hardly wait! Have always wanted to see these places. Thanks for the info on Santorini. Yes, of the 3, we'll do the cable car. Good to know our options.

Does anyone know about the ports in the above towns? Or a website to research? Any free shuttles or can you just walk off the ship and into town?
Thank you...
Cruise Lines with no Single supplement

I just saw that Uniworld River Cruises has no single supplement for several of their 2024 river cruises. Some of the prices are very reasonable (imo). Itineraries are varied too.
