    "Is there a dress code?

Answer: Yes, some refinements were made to improve consistency and the policy now reads:

Most evenings smart casual attire is appropriate. Shorts, pool/beachwear, distressed jeans and men’s tank tops are best left to the daytime and are not permitted in fine dining restaurants.

Dressy Nights evoke the grand traditions of cruising as guests dress to impress for special events on board, including our five-course gourmet dinner in the Dining Room. For gentlemen, collared shirts and slacks are required in all fine dining restaurants.

The dining room is considered a fine dining restaurant..."

I have never been to Greece, going in October. I have recently been told you cannot flush any toilet paper in their toilets, even in our hotel.

Past Greece cruisers can you confirm this?

When visiting the islands bring TP with you and use the provided wastebasket.

Their septic systems cannot handle the overload from all the tourists.

  4. A reminder to all users to the database...

    *******

Best viewed on desktop or laptop. (using a mouse)

    Steam/Sauna Database

As a reminder to all, *ANY* change you make to the database is auto-saved. There is no temporary change while you are on it. That means if you highlight ships to compare them. It is permanent. If you change the formatting of the data in any way, or for some reason change the order of the ships it stays that way when you exit.

The DB then needs to be cleaned up (not that hard to do) but still takes time.

(any proper updates added between 4/20 and 5/8 I will reinsert when I return next week)

Curious you are allowed to bring off personal refillable water bottles in Picton?  Do they actually check and take them from you?

DW was sent back to cabin to remove her refillable metal water bottle when going into the theater to wait for our excursion.

It was the first of two trips back as she later decided she was wearing the wrong shoes. 😂

  6. We got off our first Princess cruise earlier this month.

My suggestion has to do with the cabin LG TV's. Princess needs to take the time and turn off the "TruMotion" setting. (Soap Opera Effect) It's a simple 4 step process using a remote with full programing functions like the one you have at home.

There is nothing worse than watching a newer multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster film and having it appear to be filmed on a high school stage with a camcorder. Once you see it you cannot unsee it.
