the ship will have the particulars on this. ask at the desk. i would think it would work, but ask the ship hotel desk.

it will depend on the time your flight is.

at the hotel desk, they will apply the gift card to your account, or there are kiosks to do it.

i look forward to cards on other ships!

i would definitely pass on the robes.

i also would pass on morning service. i like to sleep in, and don't want the steward to have to wait for me to be up and out. i still leave the do not disturb sign up though. if i take it down in the morning, even though i said not to service my room, they still sometimes do.

i already ask for the ice bucket and extra pillows.

i think a menu card would be good.

some people don't know they can opt in (ice), and opt out (morning or evening service)

but unless i had asked about it, i would have missed out. they did not pass out forms this last time.

it is per bag, plus whatever fee your airline charges for bags.

last time for me, i had to ask about the luggage express. never got any info on it.

but it sure was nice to walk off the ship onto the bus with only my carryons.

most of my cruise travel is solo, and i worry about a suitcase getting lost.

even if i could cut down on packing to just 1 suitcase, i won't, because then i'd have nothing.

i always travel with 2 suitcases and pack 1/2 of everything in each suitcase.

hopefully i would never loose both suitcases on the same trip.

i have had a bag that was a flight behind me, but luckily i flew in very early that day, and just hung around the airport for a couple hours before going to the ship.

each time that i have booked a cabin on carnival, after my first time, ocean view has been cheaper than interior for me. and that's when i used to call for the cheapest cabin.

i never minded the interior cabin's, but the oceanview are nice, plus you get the little couch also.

what do you do with these gift cards from carnival? how do you redeem them?

i never noticed a lack of garbage cans. on my next one, i will have to pay attention.

i am also a plate stacker, and probably won't stop that.

Yes it did. It never got very cold though but we took all of the mini bar items out and put them in a suitcase ( we told our steward about it so we didn't get charged) and used the fridge for wine/water etc.

did your cabin have a mini frig?

i loved the pilows and have them at home.

i've bought coke at various ports over the years. i personally never noticed a taste difference.

also, never had a problem bringing them back on the ship.

years ago, i even brought a take out pizza back one time in aruba. (it was very late and back then there wasn't anything to eat that late.)

i've most always done it. it takes to long to get bar service anyway. after the first time, the waiter usually has a glass with ice ready for you each night.
