We were in cabin 7446 on the Freedom and there was not a lot of shade, but there was enough to have your head and shoulders in shade if you wanted to. We did not notice vibration at all. 

I just emailed our cruise planner and he said "Just says drydock it does not list anything that usually means updating rugs paint ect."

As you can tell by my screen name, I also LOVE Antigua! Thanks for the review. We will be heading out Dec. 3 as well and this review is getting me even more excited.:D
