I got one of those a few weeks ago, along with mildly official-looking card stock paperwork that said, "Boarding Pass," or something like that. Carnival was written on it, and since I have a cruise booked, I thought for a second that Carnival had sent us our boarding passes, even though they had said to print them out.
A closer look revealed the trick. It was the same old sales presentation scam. This one came from AVC Travel. I've gotten teasers from them before.
