  1. We issue you your Cuban Visa here at the check in counter where we also advise that when arriving in Havana to please have your issued visa prepared along with your passport and of course your sail and sign card too in order to debark.

Hoping to see you here soon!

Thank you so much!! See you in 30 days

  2. You have to have your passport with you at all times while ashore in Cuba. You can't go through Cuban Immigration without it. You have to hand your passport and visa to the Immigration officer at the pier, and then when you return to the ship you also go through immigration again and they require your passport. The ship staff also wanted to see a passport in your hand and visible when you carded out through the security station.

Thank you so much!! I asked this on other boards, and couldn't get a straight answer ;p

  3. I just read this entire thread, and I am so excited for you. I sail the day after you on what was supposed to be a surprise Sweet Sixteen cruise for just my daughter and I (we actually leave on her birthday). I booked it last August and I was so proud of myself for keeping it a secret until I let it slip 7 weeks out. As disappointed I was to have the secret out, I quickly got over it seeing how excited she is. She's read about our ports, and was able to give input on excursions. We've had so much fun planning and shopping that it's actually making the time go faster. Happy sailing to you and your husband

  4. Most likely that information will be in the daily newsletter left in your cabin or an announcement is made prior to disembarkation. If you are taking a private tour you can inquire of your tour company what they recommend.

    Thank you

  5. It means that if Cuba is part of your itinerary you need a passport since Cuba is not part of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. Cuba may very well also require visitors to carry their documentation with them at all times.

Thank you. Cuba is part of my itinerary, and this is the first time I am cruising with a passport. I know there is much debate on whether to carry them with you while in port. Do you know where I can find if Cuba does require them at all times?
