I am glad this thread was brought back to life. I too am African American. I usually do not get into the water so I do not have too many problems with my hair. I wear my hair cut very short after years of dealing with the same problems mentioned. I would agree that Carol's Daughter products are great. My DD uses those products with the gds.
This thread will be very helpful to new AA cruisers and new CC posters.
