Thank you for the advice. Keeping the card in the passport is a great idea.

This is our first time cruising since covid. We are fully vaccinated with boosters. I did call Carnival and they said all I need to bring is the CDC record paper card that Walgreens has updated each time I have gotten a shot. Just wanted to make sure from previous cruisers that that is indeed all that we need.
Thank You

My husband uses the Kindle ap on his phone to get books through Amazon. Will this work with the internet plan.

Can I wear nice jeans and sandals in the Windows dinning room for dinner?

My husband has some back issues that he may not be able to climb a lot of stairs depending on how he is feeling that day. We have never seen any of the Mayan ruins. Which one would allow us to see the most without having to do a lot of climbing stairs and long walks. Our NCL cruise has excursions to both when we visit Costa Maya
thanks

Would like to know if there are any shops at the Ocho Rios port terminal. We'll be on a morning excursion with NCL and was hoping to get in a little shopping right at the port.
I would also like to now about what is in the actual port area within walking distance.
thanks

We go back-and-forth between NCL and Carnival. For the last two years we've been on Carnival. The entertainment has really gone downhill on Carnival. We were on the Pride out of Baltimore last year. It seems as though they really cut back on lounge entertainment. Pianos were covered and some lounges were not even occupied. Food was fine, entertainment was fine.
We are heading back to NCL this year. We're also planning to book on the Spirit next year. We have sailed the Spirit about 10 years ago and loved it. I have to admit that we are very concerned about all the fee increases that NCL has announced. We have found the entertainment quite good on NCL. We have seen very good jugglers, acrobats, etc.
We are on the Breakaway coming soon. I am a little bit concerned about how large the ship will be and how many people will be on the ship. I prefer ships like the Spirit and the Dawn.
Please post your comparisons after your return.
Does anyone know if NCL still has the live bands on the pool deck in the afternoon. Carnival has replaced with a DJ and games a few years ago?

We have cruised Carnival 5 times in the past. Looking to try NCL Sprit to Caribbean in the fall, this time.
For those who have sailed both, what are your opinions. Looking for input on bands/ entertainment, food, cabins (interior or ocean view) and pool areas.
Thanks

I was solo in 6535. Was huge. Big enough for 7 or 8 of us to have an alcoholic evening get together.
I have been looking at that cabin for my sailing. Did you find that it was noisy and crowed being so close to the stairs and elevators. We sleep with the tv on low volume for background noise anyways. Was the hall crowed with people leaving the ship on port days?
Thanks

Does anyone know the size in inches of the beds on NCL or a web site to find . We are thinking of trying NCL rather than Carnival this time, but the size of the bed ia a concern. I am used to the size of Carnival's king.
Thanks

My husband and I are thinking about doing a Carnival Live Styx cruise at the end of September. Would love to hear input from anyone that has been on one. Wondering if the 100.00 tickets are worth it.

Has anyone done one of these tours. Would like to know the prices and locations .

We will be on the Legend in early Dec. Anyone who has been on her recently, can you let me know about her music options?

If you book a solo cabin and purchase the Cheers drink plan, would it have a surcharge or just the normal amount
