Being that the ship's offering of a bus to Christchurch is sold out, does anyone have experience getting into the city another way?

We have no problem renting car and driving on the left side...we have driven in the UK many times and will be renting a car in Picton, NZ on this cruise.  Maybe we will investigate that option for Hobart.

We are on the same cruise and are starting to look at the possibilities at each port.

For those of you on F B check out the page "Visit Prince Rupert". It has some gorgeous photos and ideas. I lived there for 2 ½ years and it is the most beautiful place when it is sunny...which does happen!

Where is best place to exchange US dollars for Euros? On cruise ship? In Barcelona? At the port? At our local bank before we leave? Going mid April? How has the euro value been lately?

Does anyone know if there is a Cirrus or Maestro ABM in the airport? Looked online and most of them seem to be in banks. We will be taking the Aerobus to the Ramblas and figure they will probably want cash.
