  1. My husband has never gotten an offer before, but we got one after our Sept Cruise on the Sunshine. We live in Nebraska, $50 inside, $75 oceanview and some $90 balconies. He played almost every night for an hour or two, but it helps he was up $1,500 the first night on roulette and so played with $500 of that the rest of the cruise. Just like a casino, they track your initial buy in, with I would recommend at least $100 on roulette (even if you only plan on spending $50) and then how much you bet per hand. I was so happy to get that $50pp with $100 OBC back that I booked a January 5 day for him for his Christmas gift (making him buy his own plane ticket, which is more than his part of the cruise....HA!)

  2. Platinum is only handy for tender ports, getting in your room right away and the free laundry. The chocolate plate sucks, priority boarding at both Miami and New Orleans was slower than regular boarding, that being said I'm glad I got my Platinum 2 weeks before they changed the rules!

  3. It's driving me nuts too.. I'm wondering if that and the reason the whole booking schedule for all ships isn't out past April is if they are waiting to see how successful the Carnival Live program is. I'm frustrated as well as I've always been able to excursions out way a head of time, to compare prices with the non-Carnival tours. I'm not much if an excursions person, as I'd rather hang out at the party bars in port, but I do like to peruse my options.

  4. we are having problems booking for our Feb 7th on the Sunshine. I have never had this issue either, and I book and look for excursions WAY further out than 6 month. Oh, well more time to research and BOOK non-Carnival excursions, which I do 99% of the time anyway, as they are cheaper and typically have better customer service than those booked thru the cruise line
