Does anyone know if Ventura will be doing this as well? Myself and friends have booked 6 cabins for a special occasion and have all been given different times to embark. Trains have been booked and we were all going to meet up and board together.

Thanks for these photos. I have 6560 booked for my Anthem cruise. I have a couple of questions. Was the balcony fully covered from the top? I prefer shade and not sun. Also, I hear there may be a problem with this cabin being about the smoking area, is that correct?

The balcony was directly underneath the balcony above ( see photo ) not sure where the smoking area is? we didn't smell any smoke but 6560 is on the other side.

Phil, was it clear of lifeboats to the right of you too? From the picture it looks as if they start 2 down from your cabin looking left.

We had G417 which was booked as an obstructed view and is right above the Java coffee bar. There is no lifeboat to obstruct your view but what you do get is a few pax looking up from the outside area one deck below where you can sit with a coffee You cannot see the seats from your balcony as the roof of the coffee lounge is in the way. I will have a look at Sues photos to see if there is a shot showing this and will post if I can find one (only about 500 to look through:eek:)

Looking at booking a obstructed balcony cabin on Britannia to the Fjords & wondering if they all have a lifeboat in front?

Are some better than others?

I ended up calling the American number I had for Anne, they weren't able to put any characters on board due to the licensing, as you correctly said. She was apologetic but it seems like they're not prepared to do anything. They're going to give my kids activity books and crayons as an apology for the DreamWorks experience not being on board (?!).

 

She was a very nice lady but it seems like they're just not prepared to do anything about their mistake. I've sent the details to Watchdog and the ASA but apart from never sailing Royal Caribbean again I don't think there's much else I can do. :(

Not sure what you mean by OBC but your on board sea pass account appears on UK credit cards as a purchase, not cash.

You can buy on board credit for your account, before you go over the phone.
