Is there a charge for iced tea with dinner in the MDR? My DH drinks "sweet tea" with lunch and dinner.

I really appreciate the information. You all are always so helpful. Thanks, Peppy:)

Our TA made our air reservations so we would not have to change planes. We leave LAX at 12:30 pm. We have purchased the transport from Princess to get us to and from LAX. Will Princess get us to the airport in time and how do they do this with over 3,000 passengers disembarking that morning? Does it matter that we are not flying with a Princess selected flight? You can tell that I am a little leery of flying after a trip to China last year where more than one flight was canceled or delayed by many hours. We even considered driving from GA to CA to avoid commercial flight. Thanks for your help, Peppy:)

Love the lanyard attached to belt loop and tucked in the pocket. Too bad I recently threw away a couple of lanyards that were free at Sun and Fun Fly-in this past April. Thanks, Peppy

First Princess cruise for us. Please give us some info about the cruise cards, such as: do you carry it at all times and if so, where do you carry it…..in a pocket or around your neck on a lanyard. I realize that it is needed when reboarding the ship, compulsory attendance for lifeboat drill and when ordering non-free items. Is the card the key to your cabin? Thanks for your help , Peppy

Thank you all (or y'all as we say here) for the great info. I had not thought of keeping the phones in the safe.

My DH and I have moved into the modern age and have brand new iPhones. Will we be able to use them when we're in Hawaii and is there an additional charge (I know Verizon is in Hawaii)? We are really new with the iPhones and want to be careful and not run up a high bill. We will turn off "roaming" when we get on the ship.
Our 12 year-old granddaughter taught us what we know while visiting from Atlanta. Any help with the phones while on this October's Hawaii/Tahiti cruise would be appreciated. Thanks, Peppy:)

Thank you all for the info. I like the idea of driving the Road to Hana and getting a helicopter back. Didn't see that on the brochure from Princess. Will continue to work on our excursions. Also, thank you for the information about Roll Call. Peppy:)

This is our first cruise with Princess (October 2015). We've always sailed with Holland America but the trip we wanted was available on a ship being sold immediately after the Hawaii/Tahiti cruise and there were many complaints about the ship. So we decided on Princess since we want a nice cruise for our 50th anniversary We want to make reservations for excursions. When I go to Personalizer, there is a list of ports in the itinerary and when I click on the port, nothing. I realize that the excursions may not be available yet but need to know if I'm going to the correct page to reserve what we want.
We want to do the Road to Hana in Maui and would really like any thoughts about that excursion. We have been to Hawaii and we did the usual touristy tours so we'll try new adventures. Any help would be appreciated, Peppy:)
Miami pre-cruise hotel

We are staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown. Driving to Miami and booked the Stay and Cruise at this Hampton Inn which provides a shuttle to the cruise terminal and cuts parking cost in half ($ 11/day). Advised to take Uber back to the hotel when we get off the ship. With this hurricane hitting Cuba and Key West, you wonder what will be left to see. Keeping the people affected in our prayers.
