I am going on a 14 day Transatlantic and was thinking about buying this package, but has anyone else done it? The price says "starting at $129" but is that total or for each service? It's not really clear.
Thanks for Any Help!
I do this on every cruise on my last 14 day cruise I bought 2. You end up having to add the gratuity. My hair is long and I only have to pay the extra for gratuity.

I have it booked for the first time in Sept but I don't think I will do it justice. I don't drink wine, I get full pretty fast, and I don't really like seafood.
But it looks so interesting, such pretty food, and seems like a very fun and unique experience. I'm not a picky eater and like variety so I think it will be worth it. Especially since I could sit on a slot machine in that time frame and lose more than the meal will cost lol.
Tell them you don't like sea food and they will replace it. Tell them you don't drink wine and they will accommodate.

Does Carnival Still do the Luggage Direct? Meaning can that once I go through costumes they take my luggage to the airport and I don't have to worry about it again?
-
a tip has always been added at the 18% just like if you order from bar or go to spa

I did a walking tour for tasting tacos. It was so fun for our family. Did it though Juan More Taco.

The Carnival website says none of their three Inet plans allow for 'wifi calling'; meaning taking and making calls, sending and getting text messages through wifi instead via cell signal. Check your carrier for texting on cruise ships; T-mobile users get text messages for free on ships, and cost $0.50 to send each text message. I forward my cell number to my home phone, (which emails me any voicemails), and stay connected to the ships' cell service so I can get my text messages.
I have been able to use facebook chat functions using the carnival WiFi

Ok a lot here about Carnival being a Budget line and things not being as upscale. However, I just went on a 7 day cruise on Princess because it was $100 less than the 7 day on Carnival. I there for would expect the quality of food to be the same. I don't except same activities and such. I just booked a 3 night on Carnival and I hope the food and drink quality is not down. My last Carnival was Dec and I did not feel it was.

Thanks makes me feel a little better. I know the ship is sold out and has been for about two weeks. I just have never not gotten my room assigned and now I know it wont be.
-
Has anyone done a guaranteed room and not been assigned until they got to port? I am platinum and never have had this happen to me before just wondering what others experience have been? Am I in for an upgrade?

What!?! You can't do laundry while cruising in Alaska? Can you at least send it out to be done? Was hoping to not take two weeks of clothes with us?
I had my laundry done while in ALska

There are ways to take this trip but non have the protection the princess gives you. Taking Uber is less expensive by half if I remember correct. Because you pay one price for two as you do one.

Have you thought that the Enclave was clean? When we did it there weren't enough hooks for your robes and people were putting them and used wash cloths all over the floor.
I agree not enough hooks but it was clean

Barbados
We took this day as a beach day. We took a cab $5 each to harbor lights on the beach. We got two beach chairs with an umbrella and jet ski for an hour, lunch, and lots of rum punch for 120. We had a great time.
We both got a little sunburned but well worth the day. The ship was a lot rocky so we did not do much. We did go to the platinum party. All but about 900 guests on board are platinum or elite. Interesting. We watched another great free movie and called it a night. For all you football fans they did show the football games all over.

St Lucia
St. Lucia
I spent a lot of time in the little coffee shop. Great coffee and even better free WiFi. It is a little yellow building hidden in the corner of the main compound.
We just walked around for a bit after the rain. It is very beautiful here. Emily found some unique gifts to take home.
Back on ship was all the normal stuff.

Thanks for the live thread. Enjoying your review and pictures. You mentioned that you had a coffee card and on another thread it was stated that ship marked the ship name/date and also had a expiration date. Is your card marked this way and if so could you provide a picture?

St. Kitts
At breakfast this morning we had a full table of negative Nancies. We have had good service and great shows. No complaints from us.
Today we got off just to look around here is what we saw.
Ok they were very pushy with the monkeys. Emily just had to have her picture taken. Of course 10 bucks. After shopping we went to TimO for lunch. The sandwich was a cheesy tri tip burger with parmesan fries. They also had great WiF.
We went back to the ship to get out of the rain and for me to work on homework. Just a note the ship WiFi will not access UOP classrooms. We went to dinner and then to another great show. After the show we watched Passengers another free move.

St. Thomas day 4
Today we arrived in a partly cloudy St. Thomas. We booked a shipwreck and turtle snorkeling tour with Castaway Girl. We had a very good time. I have sailed two times now with the same captain. Free flowing rum punch followed the snorkel. The crew said that about 60-70% of the island has power back.
After the snorkeling we were hungry and I remembered there was a Hooters that my dad and I had been too. So that’s were we headed. Not many people in so we got a table and sat for 20 with no help. So we left and went back to the ship for pizza.
In the evening we went to dinner at the new time with new table mates. We now share the table with a 15 year old and her grandma from Australia. It has been nice. After dinner I of course went to the Enclave then to the room. I watched Kingsmen one of the free movies in the room.

Love everything you've shared.
Thank you!
Have you seen the kids (tweens 8-12) program on this sailing. Shockwaves.
How many are on your sailing under 18?
There are and they look like they are having fun. However not as many as you see in summer or over US holidays.

Day three
Today was another sea day and formal night. We did a lot of nothing. Of course I spent a lot of time in the Enclave.
We did the Royal tea and I am not sure it’s worth the money. A picture attached.
We were asked to move to the earlier dining time so that another teen would have someone to sit with. So we did. It was nice for Emily. Dinner was good but the show was even better. It is a new show called Encore. Get show and I would recommend it. It’s more singing than dancing but it was great. Then I went back to Enclave and to bed by 10. We got up early this morning here in St Thomas.
