What a great deal. Another reason to not book a suite. Gee 7 days 7 bucks a day. 49 dollars wow.
-
HAL should tell you this when you booked. This is not fair to those not in the group. We sailed on a Princess ship and the groups took over the dining rooms and public areas became private party areas.
-
Great info. Thanks!
-
Is it 7.00 per day / per person? Or 7.00 per day per cabin?
-
No upsell. I just want to upgrade from J to VB.
A call to HAL inventory control could not hurt to see if there are any upsells.
And if it is 700.00 maybe your TA can give you some of their commission or gift onboard.
We were just in a similar situation. I wanted an OBC from my AMEX card. I called HAL and they put it on BUT it went from 699.00 p/p to 2100.00 p/p.
Once I saw that I called back and said I didn't want the 200.00 credit that bad. It was set back to the 699.00.
-
I called and asked my TA and they said I would lose and not gain any OBC if I upgraded. Trying to contact HAL as $200 OBC was compensation for something else and not apart of promo. I will still pay the $700 upgrade fee, but really want to keep as much OBC as I can... Going back the owner of the TA again for this mess.
Is it an Upsell from HAL or are you upgrading to another category?
Upsell you should not loose anything.
-
Not many upgrades any more. They send out up sells. More $$ to go to another category. We usually get a cheap balcony guarantee, so we at least get the type of cabin we want.

If they are stealing credit card numbers, wouldn't they just pocket the cash?
Thanks for the heads up. I will keep on eye on my cards.

Just parked at Park N Go two weeks ago for 11 day cruise. $9 per day if reserved in advance and pre-paid. Quick, fast service. 5 minute wait at disembarkation. Once our car didn't start when returned and they had it started within just few minutes. Always very pleased with them. Look for the monkeys!
This week is 15.00 per day at PNG online or in person.

Tell the security people you are picking people up at the port. If they ask what ship check the daily dock report on the port Everglades website. Show photo ID and you should be ok. Unless there aren't any cruise ships in that day.

I can't really help you out with your excursion questions, but I can give you general NCL food answers....
Do they offer Fries or Nachos anywhere?
There are fries pretty much everywhere, and I'm pretty sure O'Sheehan's has nachos on the menu...? I would think the buffet would have nachos once or twice as well
There's an O'Sheehans on Sky?
NO there is not an O'Sheehans on the SKY!
This is their smallest ship and does not have lots of restaurants and bars found on the larger ships.
The buffet is small, limited and very crowded most of the time.
There is a buffet further aft that many people do not find until the last evening.
We eat breakfast and dinner in the MDR.
Steaks where cooked to our request of medium rare.
I did not see nachos with cheese but nachos and salsa.
-
Great!! Thank you very much for the info. We are definitely booking
We just got home from the SKY. Great idea the open bar. No receipts provides faster service.
-
Most lines don't offer last minute deals any longer. It was causing too many calls from those booked early.
-
You will get an email from HAL once it is assigned.
-
Earl enjoy your cruise. We are all looking forward to hearing from you. We leave for the Westerdam in two weeks.
-
A group that large should have to charter the ship.

I just called Princess and the do not offer just the soda package. They said it wasn't as popular as the soda and more. So we bought that one. They do sell 12 bottles of water for 6.90 if you preorder it.

That's a good price. Surely it is the smaller 500ml bottles but onboard they were 2.00 each.
-
Mine sure does. ;) That's why I look for the substitute whenever possible.
As a diabetic I must limit sugar intake. So far Stivia does not raise my blood sugar like Splenda and regular sugar do. Equal gives me headaches and I can tolerate sweet n low

Thank you for the news. We are very upset about hot/cold water and toilet overflowing hearing this from many. Really not acceptable.
We found service declining. The robes in the room are for tiny people. I would guess about 25% fit in them.
-
Sorry not about Splenda, but we are going on Emerald in Jan and Feb and were wondering if the hot/cold water and toilets overflowing has been fixed. Also if there were new beds? Thanks for helping us out.
Mary
Yes new beds. Toilets were ok most of the time. Not overflowing but running dry with vacuum noise. Linens were a mix of old and new. We has hot and cold water. A/C was too warm for us. New carpet in public areas and on pool deck.

Does anyone know if Stevia is available on the Regal (MDR's, IC, etc.?)
No! Bring your own. They only have sweet n low, equal, Splenda, and sugar. Just off Emerald Princess today 12/27/2015.
-
I noticed that for our upcoming cruise it was still available but they took away the "shakes" portion of it.
FWIW, that's the only reason for it, if the shakes aren't included we'll be dropping it.
Shakes are still included except for the ships that don't have the ice cream bar

She looks stunning.
I noticed an electric jug  on the bedside table in the follow-up tour clip of the Lido balcony cabin. Why were there 2 toothbrushes stored in the safe?
Why are there toothbrushes in the safe. I thought I was seeing things...

I received this in a email from Princess yesterday.
*The Princess Luxury Bed will debut on board Ruby Princess, Emerald Princess and Coral Princess in February 2016, followed by Sun Princess (Apr 2016), Grand Princess (Dec 2016), Caribbean Princess (Mar 2017), Golden Princess (Apr 2017), Pacific Princess (May 2017), Sea Princess and Star Princess (Nov 2017), Royal Princess (Feb 2018), Sapphire Princess (Mar 2018), Regal Princess (Apr 2018), Crown Princess (Apr 2018) and Island Princess (Apr 2018).
Maybe only certain cabins have them now on the Emerald?
Can you bring 12 packs of Coca Cola on?

We put a case of water in a suite case. It made it to the cabin safe and sound.
