Just be aware of the smoking area on starboard side, deck 5, near 270 entrance. Also, the deck 14 smoking area under the movie screen on port side. We chose our cabins on the port forward section to avoid any possibility of second-hand smoke. Other than the smoke, port or starboard is equal, unless you are on a TA cruise.

Thank you so much! Enjoy your cruise!!

Does anyone have a copy of the Anthem teen compass for the 5 night Bermuda cruise? I can locate teen compasses for the longer cruises, but not the 5 nighter. Would like to have idea what might be scheduled for my grandkids' first cruise. Thanks for any responses. Cruise Critic has been a great resource for this upcoming cruise and past cruises.

Jim,
Thank you for the excellent review, photos, videos, and professional narration. We will be on the Anthem for a short 5 day cruise in July, and your review is a wonderful preparation for our cruise.
Again, thank you!

Lovelife,
Enjoyed your review and wonderful photos. We will be on the Summit on the 20th for a 14 night cruise, and your review has helped prepare us. Just one comment. You realize that when you book a guaranteed cabin, you take a gamble of being assigned one of the least desirable cabins. Again, enjoyed your review, and happy cruising on tomorrow's journey!

Scubacruiserx2,
Thank you for compiling this beautiful photo journey of your trip. We are taking this TA next April on the Eclipse, but with a shorter itinerary. We then stay on the Eclipse for the 8 day Norwegian Fjords cruise. Your wonderful photos and narrative are great preparation for our journey. I don't post often on Cruise Critic, just read to gain insights. But I wanted to express my appreciation of your time and talents. Whenever I am alerted to a new posting, it is with pleasure that I view your latest postings. Thank you!!

We are booked on this T/A cruise in 2016, but in one of the hump cabins. Great photos so far! Thanks for taking the time to share.

Are you on the Sept. 6th or 20th? We have 6144 on the 20th!! I, too, am curious for any info. One of the reasons we booked this cabin is for the larger veranda, altho it will probably be cold...
We are on the 20th sailing. Figured can always add a few layers to enjoy that great balcony! Still need to sign up for roll call.

We are also booked in Summit 6143 in Sept. 2015. Hope someone replies with recent information or photos.

Thanks for replying regarding the coffee machine. Now I just have to make sure DH has his Coke to make his Jack and Coke. Have a nice evening.

Dear "The Ma'ams"
I have thoroughly enjoyed your in depth review. So many great photos. I felt like I was there having a fun time! Perhaps you could answer a question for me. As I said in an earlier post, we will be in suite 8630 in Feb. My husband is a Starbucks fanatic (among other things, i.e. football). Did the coffee machine take whole beans, or the coffee pods. I'd be sure to pack his favorite Starbucks beans if the machine accommodates whole beans. Again, thank you so much for your time and talents in sharing your cruise with us.

We will be in 8630, another aft penthouse, on the 2/2/14 cruise. Really enjoying your review and photos! Can't wait to get out of the cold. Was wind chill -18 deg. F this morning. Even our dog didn't want to stay outside!

Thanks, Waldospepper!

Does anyone know if you can tip the butler and concierge at the end of the cruise by using your onboard account? Don't like to carry a lot of cash when I travel. Will be on the Jewel in Feb. Thanks.
