  1. I stayed in the Haven on the Getaway and getting drinks was not a problem at all. The Haven had it's own bar and waiter service while lounging in the Courtyard.

Thanks for your reply, but the Getaway and the Pearl are not the same. I don't think the Pearl has it's own bar in the Haven.

  2. When I select any of my future cruises, I can see my "Outstanding Balance" on the Overview page.

But when I click on the "Payments" tab, the Vacation Balance display no longer shows the payments I have made. This used to show me the dates and amounts I made.

This started around the beginning of June.

All my cruises were booked online through RCL website or by phone to RCL, no TA.

    Anyone else having this problem?

  3. You will be able to reserve the Chef's Table and pay in advance about 90 days before your cruise.

We are cruising on the Vision in November and plan to include this wonderful experience. It will be the 4th time for us, but the 1st time on the Vision.

Hope you enjoy it a much as we have.

  4. Was there an announcement that they got pushed back? I have been looking and all I have seen is speculation, nothing "official" from RCI.

Perhaps they need more time to determine how many perks will be eliminated and which ones will be reduced.

Like the enormous amount they must have saved when they eliminated the chocolates on the pillows each night.

  5. We don't spend a lot of time in our room so we rather cruise more and not spend all that $$$ on a suite.

How does this statement answer the question?

And the Royal Suite can be a wonderful experience, depending on the ship, size of the cabin and how attentive the Concierge is to helping you.

Extra perks can include being escorted on to ship and to the cabin early. A chilled bottle of champagne. A separate bedroom, a large bathroom, a wet bar, nice size dining table and 4 chairs, etc. And that special attention from the concierge (most times, but not always).

  6. I often see these taking place.

Are they a get together to get a chance to see the different cabin types?

    Your kidding, right?

Over 4,000 posts on CC and all those cruises, yet never joined a cabin crawl to see different cabin types?

Have you ever been to a M&M?

  7. We bought the Izumi buffet special on Grandeur. It included the Izumi buffet as well as a visit to Chops Grill and Giovannis.

Now the annoying part, they charged us on day one for Chops and Giovannis, and never sent reminders! Talk about money grab! We did get a reminder for Izumis and they delayed charging until the meal.

    Seriously?

A charge was added to your onboard account on day one of your cruise for two specialty restaurants. That is terrible.

Why didn't you rush to guest services to get these charges delayed a few days?

Oh, wait, you don't pay these charges until the end of the cruise.

We book the specialty restaurants months before the cruise (and pay in advance).

We haven't gotten reminders sent to our suite in years.

    Not a big deal!

A simple phone call to the restaurant confirms our reservation.

  8. Easy. You designate a safe area for it and provide a range with targets. I can guarantee you 100% that there are far MORE people seriously injured on the Flowrider than ever would be in an archery range.

Perhaps, but an arrow through the neck really hurts.
