How difficult is it to get drinks while in the Pearl Haven?
-
-
I am planning on making a payment online, hopefully the invoice they send to my e-mail will show all the payments made.
Still can't see payments online.
-
When I select any of my future cruises, I can see my "Outstanding Balance" on the Overview page.
But when I click on the "Payments" tab, the Vacation Balance display no longer shows the payments I have made. This used to show me the dates and amounts I made.
This started around the beginning of June.
All my cruises were booked online through RCL website or by phone to RCL, no TA.
Anyone else having this problem?

Still waiting for Tampa, Fall of 2017.
Why is NCL not available yet?
I've already booked (did it 2 months ago) a RCL cruise out of Tampa for April 2018.
And RCL has Tampa cruises listed for Fall of 2017 too.

Hi Dick!! I hope you and Beth are doing well
And a big HI to Ellen & Dan. Everyone healthy?
Yes, we are doing OK, our 39th Anniversary cruise on the Brilliance is next month. And we have the RS scheduled for April 2017 on the Brilliance too, our 40th anniversary.
Researched Oasis for our 41st, but will wait to see if prices come down.
-
Looked, but the prices are too high for the cabins we want.
Was surprised, prices are about 20% higher.

You will be able to reserve the Chef's Table and pay in advance about 90 days before your cruise.
We are cruising on the Vision in November and plan to include this wonderful experience. It will be the 4th time for us, but the 1st time on the Vision.
Hope you enjoy it a much as we have.

we usually find we get that little extra.. prompter topping off of the water glasses, maybe an extra desert or side dish bought out, more attentive wine service.
So you add a little extra cash tip.
Curious, how does the wait staff know you are going to tip extra at the end of the meal?

Was there an announcement that they got pushed back? I have been looking and all I have seen is speculation, nothing "official" from RCI.
Perhaps they need more time to determine how many perks will be eliminated and which ones will be reduced.
Like the enormous amount they must have saved when they eliminated the chocolates on the pillows each night.

We don't spend a lot of time in our room so we rather cruise more and not spend all that $$$ on a suite.
How does this statement answer the question?
And the Royal Suite can be a wonderful experience, depending on the ship, size of the cabin and how attentive the Concierge is to helping you.
Extra perks can include being escorted on to ship and to the cabin early. A chilled bottle of champagne. A separate bedroom, a large bathroom, a wet bar, nice size dining table and 4 chairs, etc. And that special attention from the concierge (most times, but not always).

Working just fine for me using IE 11.
Just booked the Oasis for a cruise in November 2016 without a problem.
-
Did you know that the ship does not dock in Belize and passengers are tendered to the port, about a 6 mile boat ride?
-
1. Would your cruising history be different? NO
2. Would you have cruised less and done more land vacations? NO
3. Would you have done the same number of cruises, but not as many on RCCL? YES
4. Would your cruise history with RCCL have stayed the same? NO
Did you realize your third question is question 1 and 4 combined?
-
Hi Dick!!!! Nope we will still be seeing you and Beth in April on the BR:)
Wonderful!
Beth and I just had a good laugh, she knew you wouldn't jump ship!
Bummer you didn't get a great deal to join the Enchantment today.
-
I put myself on a waitlist for today's EN sailing.
Are you trying to back out of the April Brilliance cruise?
-
When will Royal Caribbean come out with there 2016 schedule? Why is it taking so long to get the schedule out?
It varies.
I booked an April 2016 cruise from Tampa on May 1, 2014.
That is 23 months in advance.

I've not been on a Disney cruise, but from what I've read, that sounds like what Disney does.
Yes, Disney rotates you between 3 dining rooms.
It's not done to give you a different menu , but rather to have you experience the different Disney themes in the 3 rooms.
Don't wish to see a rotational dining on RCL.
-
I often see these taking place.
Are they a get together to get a chance to see the different cabin types?
Your kidding, right?
Over 4,000 posts on CC and all those cruises, yet never joined a cabin crawl to see different cabin types?
Have you ever been to a M&M?

We bought the Izumi buffet special on Grandeur. It included the Izumi buffet as well as a visit to Chops Grill and Giovannis.
Now the annoying part, they charged us on day one for Chops and Giovannis, and never sent reminders! Talk about money grab! We did get a reminder for Izumis and they delayed charging until the meal.
Seriously?
A charge was added to your onboard account on day one of your cruise for two specialty restaurants. That is terrible.
Why didn't you rush to guest services to get these charges delayed a few days?
Oh, wait, you don't pay these charges until the end of the cruise.
We book the specialty restaurants months before the cruise (and pay in advance).
We haven't gotten reminders sent to our suite in years.
Not a big deal!
A simple phone call to the restaurant confirms our reservation.

Easy. You designate a safe area for it and provide a range with targets. I can guarantee you 100% that there are far MORE people seriously injured on the Flowrider than ever would be in an archery range.
Perhaps, but an arrow through the neck really hurts.
-
I'd much rather do some skeet shooting.:)
Or hit golf balls off the stern!
-
Yep. I love honey stung chicken
Steak sandwich is nice and fajitas
That's what you order for breakfast?
Interesting that they would deliver it.
-
Short answer no
Suites still do
When were you last in a suite?
Chocolates on the pillow in the suites ended last year (2013).

Thanks for your reply, but the Getaway and the Pearl are not the same. I don't think the Pearl has it's own bar in the Haven.
