  1. Royal says testing no more than 2 days before. If you have already taken your tests and sailing Sunday then you would not be allowed to board as taken too soon?

If sailing Sunday maybe you could have another Antigen test nearer your sailing.

Had you been in later stages then may be ok now???

Found this on RCI information before our sailing and cost 29euros each.

We had our tests at the address below on Saturday morning when they opened. Lucky we were all Negative but the 15min wait for the Antigen test was stressful. (you need your passports)

Back off our sailing and still feeling fine.

I do hope you get sorted and find the information you need if you have to cancel. Nightmare situation for you. I sympathise with you having travelled all that distance to have to face this covid situation..

Also, i agree with zeberdee that your insurance would be a good route to go down. Our insurance gave very supportive information with covid related issues.

    Take care.

Telehealth tests are accepted, but must be completed with a supervised video visit. All tests are at the guests’ expense.

    • Vaccinated guests who are up to date must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before boarding day. Vaccinated guests who are not up to date will have a 1 day window to take this test.
  2. Just back off the Wonder of the Seas.

We found on Royal Caribbean 'Frequently Asked Questions' the following information.

Tests: Antigen: 15 mins / PCR: 60 mins

We arrived in Barcelona late Friday night and had our tests first thing Saturday morning when they opened. Just turn up and wait your turn. Only three people before us. You can find the site if you put in the Provider name to find more information on their site.

(or look for the frequently asked questions on RCI web site)

Short taxi journey from our hotel. the worst bit is waiting for your results. Nice friendly staff.

    Hope you get sorted.

This is just our experience and it worked for us.

  3. Thank you. I did try to stay calm through out and my TA has made me think differently about her. [emoji846]

Unfortunately, I’m not to say a thing about any of it I’m afraid. After everything, I don’t want to lose anything but I have a smile on my face. [emoji16]

So glad you got sorted. I had a great cabin last year on the Ovation going solo and being a new ship was an added bonus.

You will enjoy the Oasis but this was the first of the larger ships to be built and i think you will definitely see a difference when you go on the Symphony.

Previously i had done the Allure then last year i went on the Harmony and just loved it. The only trouble is that I find it harder now to go back to the smaller ships, lol. (but i will :()

I am booked with my niece and her husband next June on Symphony.

By the way i am from Morecambe too.

    Happy cruising! :D

    Caz :)

  4. We are on Navigator right now. No need to reserve shows. You just go to the ones you want to see. The ice show is now offered by muster station number, so no need to line up for tickets.

Thanks for the info. :) Just asking in case you can maybe help shed some light for us? Muster Station number booking the ice show? We are family and will be staying in different parts of the ship on our forthcoming cruise. We will be spending the majority of time together and will want to go to the ice show altogether. Problem with this is that other muster station numbers will probably not be included in the same time booking as ours?

  5. Hi when we booked we got the offer of 5 free bottles of wine per cabin. Stupid question but if we don't drink them will we be allowed to take them off the ship when we return to the UK. We've actually got 10 bottles because they don't drink wine in the other cabin - and after last night I sadly realise I can't drink it like I used to ha ha ! :D

    Hi

We also have the 5 free bottles wine offer however, I was led to believe you are offered it in the dining room and not left in our stateroom. If this is correct then no corkage fee should be charged. This charge is if you take a bottle in with you? I also believe you can take it out of the dining room if you wish to take it back to you stateroom to drink if you wish? Perhaps someone else can put us right on this one?????
