  1. cruisinmom,

how did you get a hold of Captain Bryan? I used him in 2006, and LOVED the two stop tour. I want to book about for next month, May.

I called the number on the website - (345)916-2093. There was a charge from my home phone but it wasn't that much - maybe 25 or 35 cents per minute? I didn't talk more than 10 minutes getting it all worked out.

    Here is the website:

  2. We booked with Captain Bryan for this past Monday. It was awesome! We were a group of sixteen, so we chartered the Hannibal. The sail is broken, so we motored both ways, but we had a great time. Justin and Jake were our crew, and they were phenomenal. We had a mix of kids and adults, and Justin and Jake were great with them. They held a ray at Stingray City so each child could kiss it and get a picture with it, and we all got stingray back massages. They collected conchs and sliced one up for everyone to try, then they gave each child one of the shells. We made two snorkeling stops and saw a huge variety of coral and fish. The personal service made me very glad that we had chartered. We frequently had other people come over to our group to learn about the rays since their guides stayed on the boats.

I did not pay anything until the day of, and everything went beautifully. Everyone in the group rated it as the best day of the trip.

  3. We are sailing on the Brilliance in two weeks and have a similar situation. We are traveling with three other families and have a mix of 14 and 15 year olds who are all freshmen in high school. We hope they will all be able to be together in the teen club, but we know they will have fun hanging out outside the club if the 12-14 year olds are separate from the 15-17 year olds. Even though they are traveling with a built-in friend group, it is nice to meet new people and make new friends.

We do plan to ask if they can be together, and I will report back after our trip. I expect it depends on the number of kids on board, staffing, the ship and the mindset of whoever makes the decision that day. :D

  4. We had a fantastic family tour of Athens. Picked up after leaving the cruise ship and had wonder tour of Athens by our super friendly driver Constantine he made us feel very special and nothing was to much trouble for him. Excellent knowledge and a great way of explaining things to my 13 year old twins. One of our best day of the cruise. Please if you want a quality service and make the most of your time in Athens then use this service and you will not be disappointed.

We also had Constantine with PK Travel as our driver last week. He was great, and my kids (14 and 10) loved him! He was very friendly and knew about each of the sites we visited. He said he wanted the day to be no stress for us and he wanted to show off his country to us. Overall, it was the best private tour we did last week, but all of them were very good.

  5. We used Athens By Taxi/PK travel for a full day Athens tour last week. Constantine was our driver, and he was great! He met us at the port on time and we had a great start to our day, arriving at the Acropolis well before the tour buses. He was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible (we were traveling with two kids, so he adjusted things to suit them and made a quick stop at Starbucks for our teenager :D ). He gave us a history of each site and gave us guide books to take in with us. We had a nice lunch in a local Greek restaurant (there were other tourists there as well - probably other PK travel clients). He kept saying his goal was for this to be a no stress day for us, and it was. He was the kids' favorite of all the guides and drivers we had on the trip.
