Wil be travelling on Indi in a couple of weeks, as she is an American ship, will we need to take American adapters to charge phones etc.,
-
Have never cruised in school holidays before, but will be on the Indy 27th July, my grandson has asked the question can he wear jeans in main dining room on a normal evening.
-
I will be travelling on Indy soon with my grandson and family, he will be interested in the laser quest, climbing wall, ice skating etc., I have been told to book these as soon as we embark. Can all this be booked at reception

My husband and I are cruising the Fjords end of July, I would like to book the train in Flam. As my husband suffers from emphaseama, I am a little concerned that it might be too cold when train reaches top of mountain. Think my question is how cold, and has anyone had breathing problems when reaching sumit

Are there any outside bars on Navigator, if not where is the best lively bar. Also, would a Bellini be available under the drinks package.

Due to sail on Navigator on Friday, and just wondered if there were other venues (apart from Windjammer) where we can get free food, this sounds mean, but we are boarding at 2pm and not sure how full Windjammer will be, and husband is not keen on main dining room. Thanks in advance

Sorry if this has been done to death. Have sailed with P and O and Celebrity from Southampton, so am aware of what people are wearing on formal nights. Sailing on Navigator from Southampton in September, could anyone please tell me roughly what percentage of suits to DJ's, and long or short for women. This will help me with packing. Thanks

Am looking at cruising on Navigator, have always previously done freedom dining, is this an option on Navigator, as most posts seem to refer to fixed dining

We were on Ventura last month and I can honestly say the cabin and public areas I saw were in very good shape. Due to previous posts I found myself even looking for faults and all I could see was a very small patch of worn carpet on the stairs leading to the buffet deck (so not surprising !!!!!).
Don't panic, it is fine and staff were cleaning/polishing all over the place.
Dave
Good to read your comments, as my husband and I are due to sail on her next Sunday, and like the OP had read some very negative comments

I know this subject will have been done to death, but as a first timer to P and O (have always travelled Celebrity and Princess), I really would like to know whether my husband would be better off taking his DJ, or just a normal suit, also, would I be better off taking cocktail dresses, or long formal dresses. We are sailing on Ventura from Southampton, so weight is not a problem. Also, how many formal nights on 12 night cruise?

have been picked up twice from The Crown Plaza, you can actually sit in the hotel and have a coffee, and can see when the coach arrives as I stops right outside

Hi Cruza, note you are wearing a jacket, may I enquire what your wife will be wearing, I have always wore long before, but am quite happy to do cocktail. I just want to fit in, I know that previous posters say wear what you want, but I just would not feel comfortable if everyone else were wearing short dresses and I appeared in long

My DH and I are sailing on Sillhouette from Rome on 12th September, we have always sailed from Southampton over the last few years, where formal nights were predominantely DJ's (tux). Have read several posts recently where men are going for suits or jackets, rather than DJ's when sailing from Rome, is there anyone who has sailed from this port recentlywho can advise me do I pack his DJ, suit, or jacket?. Thanks for your help

Hi, my husband and I are due on Sillhouette in September sailing from Rome. A previous poster stated that there were very few men in DJ's on formal nights. As he prefers to blend in with the crowd rather than stand out, would I be better packing a normal suit

Travel Girl TX. Thank you for that information its just what I needed to know, and I am now confident that DH will be able to cope. I just didnt know what to expect as we have always sailed from Southampton before.

My husband and I will be disembarking Sillhouette in September for our 11.05am flight. Have booked transfer to airport through TA, so not sure what time that will be till we get all paperwork through. As husband suffers from COPD, I am a little concerned at the thought of dragging 2 large suitcases off ship. could anyone tell me if there would be anyone on hand to assist (if needed). Also can you just walk straight of ship, or do you decend via a sloping gangway?

My husband and I have sailed on the Eclipse twice out of Southampton. I was in my late 60's, and even I found it quiet after 11 oclock. The nightclub only seemed to be used for the occasional music quiz, or table tennis during the day time. There was music being played during the evening, but it was always empty. On both occasions we sailed during September, dont know if that had anything to do with it. The Eclipse is beautiful, but in my opinion more suited to the older generation, but no doubt others would disagree.

hammo, can you tell me what date the large group will be on board. also how did you manage to find out this information?
-
You can also get cartons of milk from the buffet, which can be kept in the fridge. Personally I prefer to take my own Coffee Mate
-
thanks for all the advice, and I think I will upgrade to the premium package just for me so that I can take full advantage of the cocktails in the Molecular and Martini Bars. Unfortunately my husband is a beer or cider man. Would he be able to purchase either of these, or will I be drinking alone?
-
Does the free drinks package cover any of the cocktails in the Molecular and Martini Bar. What would happen if I ordered a drink that exceeded the 8 dollars, would the difference be charged to my account, or would I pay the full amount?
