I was able to get through to RCCL on the phone today in a relatively timely manner...25 minutes on hold. I was concerned because I'd never received a confirmation of my cancellation, either on-screen at time of submission or via email. They confirmed my request was received on March 27 (I'm pretty sure I actually canceled on March 25, but close enough). I asked when to expect a refund and was told 30 days from receipt of cancellation confirmation. So I'll wait another week before I contest the charge with my CC company.

I'm still getting cruise documents as if my May 3rd cruise were still going forward. I'm guessing they don't have the IT people in place to handle all the changes necessary.

I got a confirmation number that was it . Funny thing I got an email from Royal Caribbean person the next morning giving me there contact info saying please call me I will help you book your cruise and spend you FCC , I was like how did he know I have a FCC when it hasn't been issued yet. I really have no desire to book one just yet I should call to see what he says I have in FCC .
I didn't get even get a confirmation number.

Not sure what kind kid of confirmation you are looking for but as I posted earlier this morning that I did get an email reply to the request using their form for same. This was for a cruise I booked through RCL. I got an email reply that was essentially a copy of my responses to the form and had a response ID number.
I've received nothing. No email reply. Nothing at all about having requested a refund. I've been getting all my travel documents though! 😕

Thus far on two cruises, both canceled by RCCL, I have not received any notification or any refund. I've also not received a refund for my my pre-cruise onboard purchases. RCCL canceled my May sailing in mid March. Right now it's been about 20 days and nothing.
I called two days ago and the customer service person just repeated a statement and offered no details or substance about refund status, etc.
Thank you for the update! I will continue to watch my account for a refund.

So has ANYONE received an email confirmation of their refund request from RCCL? So far it looks like people who booked through a 3rd party may have one from the TA, but no one who booked directly with RCCL, like me, has a confirmation number. Is that correct?

The travel restriction depends on where people have been within the last 21 days. Maybe EDGE was cleared.
Ohhh. That would really suck to be the person who made everyone else have to change their plans!

Thanks for your quick answer. I wonder why someone was only given 75%.

If this has been answered elsewhere, please direct me. I've searched and can't find the answer, or rather, have seen conflicting answers. If you cancel using the Cruise with Confidence criteria, is it a 100% FCC or 75%? My original reading of the announcement led me to believe 100%, but now I see it doesn't mention any particular amount and I know of at least one person who was only given 75%.
Are we the only one who hasn't received refund?

I finally got my refund, but am confused about the amount. 3 separate deposits that don't quite equal my payments. My brother who was also going with me received 3 separate deposits, 2 the same as mine, but one slightly over a $100 more than mine, still about $25 short of what he paid. We had split the cost down the middle. It's true that my CC gave me a $100 conditional refund, so maybe that was taken into account? Kind of crazy accounting, but at least I got most back. I may or may not call and ask about it. As long as my CC doesn't take back the conditional refund, it's close enough.
