Is anyone familiar with the holiday and what will be closed? We are on the Symphony of the Seas next week and will be in Naples on June 2nd. We have a private tour booked but was curious if there will be a lot of shops and restaurants closed? 

We will be on the Symphony of the Seas and in Naples on June 2nd. It is my understanding that June 2nd is a public holiday-Republic Day. Any idea if things shut down in Naples, Positano, etc,? Our tour company indicated that we may experience heavy traffic and have to skip Positano in order to make it back to the ship on time (which we understand). Was wondering if anyone had any insight into the holiday and what we could expect.

Is anyone familiar with the HOHO in Mallorca or know how easy/difficult it is to get to one of the HOHO stops to do the bus tour?

We are doing the 8 day on the Sunshine. San Juan, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Grand Turk.

I think the easiest/cheapest might be to look for the free wifi in port. But what about when we are at sea? I will have 2 days at the end of the cruise that are sea days....all our previous cruises I was completely unplugged and loved it. This go round I am in the middle of a job search and want to make sure I am promptly replying to any possible interview invites.

We will be sailing on the Sunshine next week. We have Verizon iPhones. What is cheapest/easiest way to check email? I won't necessarily need internet/web surfing but I am not clear if the $5/day "social" package includes email?

Thanks so much for your input! We are excited to explore San Juan

We are sailing on the Carnival Sunshine and will be in San Juan on 7/13 from 1pm-8pm. This is the first time for us at this port and I have read great reviews about Ellis.

I have emailed him and checked out his FB page, I'm just not familiar enough with San Juan to decide what would be a good excursion. It will be me, my husband, and 11 year old son. We are not looking for anything strenuous or too adventurous. I'm not into hiking......

Ellis recommend The rain forest or Charco Azul/Guavate. Would love to hear if anyone has an opinion on any of these.
