My charge for carnival just posted. I got the email for the credit right after I made the charge. I’m just waiting for the credit to be applied.

Sorry to hear you paid it last week. I added the offer and upgraded to balcony to have my remaining balance over $500. I hope it works for me even though I already booked. How long does it usually take to credit?

No - it can be done in multiple purchases like most Amex offers. When pre-paying grats it made me do each state room individually and keep paying each time (UGH). So I had 4 state room pre-pay grats charges and the $150 credit was there today.

I have an outstanding balance right now of more than $500 if I use my Amex can I still redeem the offer? I booked my cruise last week.

I also made my booking last week and upgraded my room and made my renaming balance over $500 but it seems it’s only available for reservations made from 10/18 - 12/31. I made my room upgrade today. 

I upgraded and also paid the difference
