Two quick questions (1) what time do they normally start boarding the Vista barring any unexpected delays and (2) do they enforce the check in times at the terminal? We have FTF but we are traveling with another family that does not have FTF and have a 1:30 check in.

Did you do any of the specialty dining options, if so how were they? How was the beverage service outisde of main dining? Did you have assigned dining or your time? If you had your time, did you experience any delays? By chance do you have any of the fun times? Just a few questions to start :)

No. On our last cruise in April on the Magic there was no free wine in the Italian restaurant on the first night.

The sampler in the steakhouse is by far our favorite "desert" option.

Thank you. My post was not real clear. My credit cards refunds have gone through quickly; however, it is purchases made with gift cards and then cancelled where the refunds are taking forever and have resulted in a great degree of frustration given multiple phone calls to Carnival, long conversations with several transfers each time, and then no resolution other than being told the refund is being processed and a new gift card will arrive in the the next week (which it never does).

Has anyone experienced problems getting refunds from carnival for purchases made online (fun shop / excursion) cancelled prior to their cruise? I have one refund outstanding since mid-march and another one that is about three weeks old. I have called on the first several times, each time it takes about an hour and being transferred around and ends with it is still being processed. Has anyone experienced similar problems or have any suggestions about how to get in touch with someone at carnival that can help?

I just did a mock purchase for an upcoming Vista cruise. It is a nice option; however, I noticed it charged sales tax so I will wait until I board the ship and can purchase without tax.

i have seen where there is a 5 minute waiting period between drink orders. Does anyone know if this applies to non-alcoholic beverages!? For example, if I ordered a milk shake, specialty coffee or alcoholic drink, could I also get a bottle of water or non- alcoholic drink at the same time? I have never purchased cheers but am leaning towards it in our upcoming vista cruise. Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone. How bad was the wait time for beverage service outside of the main dining- at the bars, poolside, etc as compared to other ships?

I would be very appreciative if anyone would tell me about their experiences (positive or negative) with the Spa Balcony cabins on the Liberty. We are considering cabin 1106 or a similar cabin. Thank you. :)
