Only way to drop off your carry on luggage is if you have the Key. Drop off is in the MDR. Carry on will then be delivered to your room.

I did that with my last booking. I called and was told it could not be changed. Booking had to be canceled and re-booked....had to pay deposit twice in same day 😤

Johnny rockets served breakfast when we were on Symphony in October so my guess would be yes.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your vacation! Well done 👏

I have not had any issues 🤷♀️

You can usually find what the cabin is like on youtube. Just google the ship and cabin number.
-
So if you have the Key and the UDP, its better to go to chops vs MDR?

If you havent already, try it on the Epic. Man, it's even better than Encore although Encore is newer. Even MSC has better thermal Suites than Royal ships.
I agree!! The Thermal suite on Epic was amazing!! So disappointed Symphony doesn't have one.

Yay!!! So excited to see your pictures. We will be on Symphony is 36 days 😃

Is the only way to do this thru Royal UP? I called and asked to change cabins from an Ocean View to a balcony and was told I could not since final payment was passed.

I have my 6th cruise book for October. I have never done door decorations in the past but plan too for this trip. It's my first trip with my 2 sisters and we are excited!!

I get motion sick easily and the patch did not work well for me. I take Bonine which works great. I start taking it the one to two nights before the cruise. I only take one pill at night before I go to bed. Depending on the seas and how many ports we go to I don't always have to take it throughout the cruise.
This is what I do also!! Works great

I am also waiting on a $250 refund. I was initially told 30 days. After 30 days, I called back and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When they returned, I was informed there had been an error in the processing of the refund and it would take another 7-10 days 😡

After waiting an hour and a half for a call back, they returned my call. I explained the issue, and she told me that reservations haven't opened up yet except for rockstar suites. Of course, I know this isn't true, because I was able to make ONE reservation. She could see my reservation on her end, but still insisted that they weren't open yet. She said that I would receive an email when they do open. I just can't believe how inept this company is...
Thanks for the update! We haven't received a single email from them since booking this cruise months ago. I have high doubts we ever will. I guess it's good we aren't on the first voyage so we can learn from those who are 🙂

I have 2 cabins booked on the Encore 5/31. One spa balcony and one inside. I booked a year out and now the total cost dropped $1700. I called and they offered me $230 OBC for the spa room. I upgraded the inside to the spa balcony next to ours for a minimal price. I have also canceled our Alaska cruise booked for next year. I'll wait to re-book when the time nears.

Great review! So glad to hear you enjoyed it. We leave tomorrow. Our first time on this ship.

Very nice review....thanks for posting! I'm glad you had a good time.

We were just on the Epic and our room DID NOT look like this!!

There is a clothes line in the shower but I will tell you our suits took forever to dry! We ended up draping them over the chairs on the balcony.

Has anyone been able to buy these passes in Miami at the dock before boarding? That would be amazing!
No ...they are not available to purchase at the dock. I did ask ;)

We were on the Epic last week and it was our goal to get 2 spa passes. We arrived early and got boarding group 3. I asked at the terminal if the passes were sold there and they told me no. I either had to go to the spa or to guest services.
Once we boarded ...we headed to guest services. There they had tables set up for all the different packages you can purchase (if you arrive early you will avoid long lines). We went directly to the table set up for the spa and were the 2nd in line.
The spa does tours up until 3:30 (muster drill) so at 3:00 dh and I decide to take the tour. While on the tour...the guide made mention that there were 4 passes left.
I think as long as you get to the port reasonably early, you will be fine getting a pass. I don't know what ship you are sailing on....but on the Epic...it was totally worth it :)

I booked our Epic cruise in June 2014. Price went up and then down and back up. If you were to book my cruise now leaving Sunday....Price is outrageous compared to our booking last year! My advise is...if there is a cabin location you like...book it! Watch for price decreases until final payment. NCL will adjust for that.

I have never gotten any emails from NCL on either of my cruises other than confirmations. Our Dawn cruise was booked thru a TA and I did get and invoice from her. I get email all the time from NCL but its regarding new promos.
I think your secret will be safe ;)
Are there drink package discounts on embarkation day?

On Freedom in February it was offered the first day at the same price I purchased it for which was the cheapest I have seen ($77.99). I pre purchased for my husband and I. My sister did not and purchased it onboard first day.
