Dickinson beach has food, umbrellas and chairs for rent. They also have wave runners. It was close and I believe only about $5 pp each way. We arranged for the same taxi to pick us up so that was not a problem.
There is a Sandels resort right there as well so getting a taxi would not be a
problem.
We have not been to Long Beach but it is further away from the port.
