  1. I have a couple questions regarding Nachi Cocum, Xel-Ha and Passion Island.

This'll be our second time visiting Cozumel and I'm planning to do a lot of research. Last time we were in Cozumel, we did some sort of power snorkel, which none of us cared for at all. I think it may have been in Chankaanab? I actually have no idea, it was a RCCL excursion.

Anyway, my first question is, are Xel-Ha or X-caret good options cruisers? Has anybody done it? Thoughts/feedback would be very appreciated.

I have heard nothing but good reviews on Nachi Cocum, is that the general consensus? Also, I saw a photo of the menu and meals were in the $100 range? Did I misunderstand something?

Finally, for those that have been to both Passion Island and Nachi Cocum, which did you prefer? I'm leaning towards Nachi, but Passion Island looked absolutely beautiful even though the reviews seemed to be pretty "disappointing".

I would appreciate any feedback you have for the 3 different "excursions". Thank you all in advance :)

  2. *I definitely agree with the previous poster about donating. Be ready to pay for more than the sticker price. Our group also stopped by the monkey stand and his house, where we met his daughter.

~Another thing to point out is the safety of the vehicle, we noticed that there were absolutely NO tire treads. We realized this after the tour. I'm unsure of how safe the vehicle is. On our specific tour, he didn't give us a whole lot of info. He then took us to the "jungle", but to be honest, i didn't see anything that i couldn't find here in my own backyard (Minnesota). All in all, none of us were very impressed. We traveled with 3 generations from ages 70 to 13.

-When he first approached us on the beach of the Marriott hotel, he seemed so informative and genuine. But once he picked us up from the hotel on the day of the trip, he was very bland and quiet. Just something to be aware of.

Instead of his "open air jungle tour", I would definitely do the Blue Water Safaris. It was excellent other than the snorkeling sites. Just a recommendation (other than Captain Sunshine's).

  3. Hi, I have sailed Royal Caribbean 2x (Freedom & Oasis) and this March will be my first time on Norwegian. We are going on the Epic. When we called to book thru NCL, we weren't really given any information at all… They weren't exactly helpful. With that being said, I have a few questions!

~We have a mini suite on deck 9, category MD. I'm wondering if this is going to be obstructed by a life boat?

~Is the bathroom a split set up? Is it a tub shower? Or just shower?

~How much are Posh passes? Is it worth while?

    ~Are kids (ages 16 & 17) allowed?

Finally, if you have been on Oasis, what is your opinion comparing the two? What were the pros/cons? What did you like/dislike between the two?

Thank you for your help! :)
