  1. Not sure what you mean by splash area, but there is an area on Harmony for swim diapers.

Thanks, Bob! I am becoming a little disenchanted with DCL and want to seriously consider returning to RCCL this fall... but the splash pad is my hang-up. The photos of the Splashaway Bay kid splash area on HOTS look awesome.... but they look like the H2O zones on other ships that kids in swim diapers are NOT allowed in. I can't find a single photo of any actual swim-diaper-approved area on HOTS (l;ke the one that someone was able to post from Majesty). This is a sticking point on booking for us, so I just want to be sure there is some area for my 2 y.o. before booking.

  2. I'm thinking about signing up for the cupcake decorating class, but it's hard to imagine eating all those cupcakes amidst the many other treats being offered while onboard. And it looks like the only available class time still open is the afternoon before we disembark. Does anyone know if you can take the cupcakes off the ship with you? I'm blanking on whether customs would want to toss them. If anyone has tried, I'd appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks! 😊

  3. I've seen a lot of talk about re-routing FL based cruises headed to the Caribbean. Anyone know what they would do to re-route a Bermuda cruise leaving out of NJ if a storm comes up the East Coast? Or just want to speculate with me? :) Our cruise is still a little while away, but all this hurricane talk has me wondering what the options would be...

  4. We thought Oceania was by far the best of all the lines we've sailed, but also the most expensive. We were on the second sailing of the new Riviera in 2013, so perhaps we had a particularly good experience.

Of the other lines we've sailed - Disney, Princess, Royal Carribbean and NCL - nothing else is really a standout. Some great, some good, some not-so-good.

And I agree with a previous poster, that sometimes the food is made or broken by the surrounding experience. Its hard to look back clearly on JUST the food when there is a lot that colors your opinion from the dining experience as a whole.
