An FYI - after sorting through sooooo many threads and reviews I have decided upon Victor Bodden even though the zip is lower and much more tame. As a non-adventurous first-time zipper, the combo of gentle lines (no hand braking,) monkeys and beach seems like our best bet. I also like not having to pay upfront in case of weather or change of plans. :D

After taking a great while deciding to zipline in Roatan and now reading multiple threads - I am so confused about which tour to book. It looks like Bodden's, South Shore and Rony's Tours all do the same Zip and Dip tour. Does anybody have any advice about which to go with and can they be booked once we get to Roatan? I guess I should try to figure out how many ships in port that day. :confused:

If you are a Total Rewards member with Harrah's and need to p/u the voucher from a specified casino then it is legit. Total Rewards and Casinos at Sea have a collaboration (or something) and lots of people get "free" cruises that way. I am cruising next month that way so I hope it's legit!! Had to pay taxes, port and upgrade fees so not totally free though.

Wonderful review - one question though -- do you have to wait until after boarding to reserve the Taste of India dinner? I don't want to miss it!

I joined Cruise Critic recently to get information on the very same cruise you just took - we'll be on the Spirit's Western Caribbean cruise in November. I truly appreciate your detailed reviews and pictures, I cannot tell you how helpful they are! :cool: And I'm going to second the comments about your camera, now I want the Cannon D10. :D

Hey Travelchick - what are your Nov dates? We are new to this too and cruising the Spirit on Nov 27th. Make sure you go over to the roll call and say hi there too.

I agree - I ave gotten so much good info from this TR and it sure helps the planning when people provide such great details about their trip.

Yay! I have been waiting for this one! I have been lurking awhile but now that our countdown is under 2 months I am about living for Spirit TRs. I am still not sure which I am more excited about - NO or the cruise and thanks for providing the link to virtualtourist.com as I had forgotten about that site.

I love Drury Inns - the happy hour and breakfast are both great and talk about customer service - it was great that they comped your stay due to the ants.

I can't wait for the rest of your TR; in the planning stages for shore excursions ect so this will be so appreciated. Thanks for getting started on it so soon after your return.
