  1. Do they all dock in sane port? There are three different ports in Bermuda. We sailed summit and loved it so much we repeated again the next year. I would definitely choose the longest time in port.

Things to do- of course island tour, one night each week ( I believe Wednesday) the port of Hamilton has a big street party which you can take water taxi to, deep sea fishing, beautiful beaches, golf, st George's tour ( a UNESCO site) sea glass beach and the port of Kings Wharf has a fort along with great history of the island and their part in the slave triangle. I forgot to mention tours of the rich and famous

I will mention that Bermuda is a much quiter island and if you are looking fir an active party scene you won't find it. That's what I love about it.

We went in July so it was hot. Not sure about May and a friend went in October and many things were closed for the season

  2. We stayed at a pineapple hospitality hotel. Begins with an " M" It was right by space needle and pier. I will say I am picky about hotels and this was reasonable and clean. They also arranged shuttle to the pier which we were able to secure him to pick us up the following Monday.

I forget to tell you to take a cab up Queen Anne's hill to get the iconic Seattle picture.

In Skagway trail of '98 tours (t n tours)

  3. Also if you are thinking if bear tour better book it. Someone said they only h and out a limited amount of permits. I wanted to see Creek Street and my sis in law was recovering from hip surgery so it left us with little options

Our cruise this year is southern Caribbean. No ideas for st Kitts

  4. No we hired a private company and drove to Yukon. Heard train was boring and we had my 16 yr old daughter. You know how they get when it's not what they want. It was great. We saw bear, the desert in Alaska, a beautiful beach and Emerald lake along with much more. I can forward the name if you like. In Ketchikan we had sine who fished, others who snorkeled and my sis in law and I went on a tour. We had the worst of the group

My niece couldn't do the helicopter so she went whale watching with an independent tour. Said it was great. Her family ( tour guide) were the sole inhabitants of Shelter island.

As you can tell we don't book too much from ship either. Only when we have to. Sounds like you have been to Seattle before and I am glad you booked the exhibit. You will be amazed.

We went in August and brought gloves but never needed. It was warmer than michigan but you just don't know.

  5. Wouldn't buy it. We were on the cruise last summer and bought it but it wasn't needed. I would use the 50.00 toward the glacier cruise It was worth every penny. I believe it's listed as Tracy Arm tour. While the cruise ship is traveling the fjords you are offloaded onto a smaller boat which of course can get much closer. It is AMAZING. Only about 150 spots so book now.

If I can make a suggestion for Seattle it would be to visit the Chihuky exhibit next to the space needle. It's Seattle's #1 attraction and I can see why. Check it out on trip advisor. We bought our tickets ahead of time- package deal with space needle I think

If your budget allows do the helicopter to the glacier in Juneau and snorkel in Ketchikan

  6. I am replying to this on my mother's account to help clarify these misconceptions. I am a 17 yr.girl and have been in over 10 teen clubs on cruises. If your child Is responsible and is trustworthy then you will have no problems. On all th cruises I have been on I have seen no teen drinking through the teen club or drug use. I find it easy to stay out of trouble. Whereas trouble is everywhere a teen goes. Those who say things about meeting older guys, that happens everywhere and you honestly can't control it. My last point mostly is few teens I making it a bad name for the rest of us. If you have anymore questions feel free to comment.

  7. Sorry to hear you didn't like the Miracle. We sailed to Alaska on it and had an awesome trip. I am assuming you are going to Tracey Arm. Take the small boat tour. Don't miss this excursion. You get much closer to the glacier in a small setting ( they only take about 100 each time and its only 2 times ) Book it now if you can and I will tell you it's tricky to find on excursion list.

We also dud the helicopter in Juneau and some if the group did whale watching. The pics were amazing. In Ketchican 2 of the group snorkeled, the guys chartered a fishing boat, and we went to the totem like park. Also, in Skagway we chartered a van to take us to the Yukon. We don't do the ships excursions if we don't have to. We ( I) like to research the stop and look for independents.

If you sail out of Seattle I have a list from there too. We went in a day early and saw sons highlights

You can contact me at pamelawinalis@yahoo.com if you want more info hope this helps

  8. We needed to cancel 2 years ago and we received our full $ back minus of course the insurance. Our excursions were credited back but I think I went in first and cancelled those before I called. I did not have any specials onboard but my guess is you lose those. I can compliment Carnival on their cancellation insurance. If you have to cancel, it's because something has happened and you do t need added stress

  9. We went last August and my sis in law had recently had back surgery. She did great. Take the Tracy Arm excursion. As stated above it was well worth it. We had fog that day so only the people on excursion could really get a great view. Also, in Skagway we booked an independent tour to the Yukon. We took this over ship excursion and we were glad we did. This is a great thing that your mom can handle. We also took the helicopter to the top of the glacier and we were accompanied by a 85 yr old woman whose spouse went fly fishing and she was there with her cane. I believe I was more frightened about it than anyone else.
