Some here have suggested that well I was just confused and didn’t read the description carefully.  I believe I did.  I believe I was misled by Celebrity.

 

So make sure you know what you’re getting and don’t rely on the excursion description.

This happened to us. We were on Celebrity Constellation in June. After we returned from the excursion, I went directly to Guest Excursions and complained. We booked this specific excursion so we did not have to deal with the Cable Car lines, pickpockets, and crowds. Did not appreciate the change up at the last minute. They told us that on the Constellation only, all the stops get Cable Car tickets and there is no bus to the tender. They did this because previously, passengers complained they missed going on the Cable Car (I guess they couldn’t read the excursion description). The description for this excursion in the app and online still showed getting the bus to the port. They told me the descriptions are for any Celebrity ship using that excursion so it couldn’t be changed. They ended up crediting our account 20% of the excursion charges.

Chris 'Happy' Hopkins will be leaving Brilliance tomorrow to begin his vacation. I don't know who will be replacing him.

We stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Seffner. Not close to the pier but not crowded with tons of cruisers either. They have a park and cruise package including a shuttle and breakfast.

Could they have been "Two Funny Guys" - Mario and Daniel from Argentina? We saw them on the Legend in February - they were sooo funny I almost peed in my pants! :eek:

I don't have the link either but just called crown and anchor to redeem mine. They took care of it all for me. Easy breezy. ;)

Darryl was the Activities Manager on the Jewel of the Seas on my Feb 2013 cruise. He was just as fabulous as the previous posters describe on Grandeur. Maybe RC will consider him as a CD in the future. Never gave the Activities Manager much thought until Darryl. The next cruise we went on, the lack of enthusiasm and originality that Activities Manager had was really noticable.

Count me in the "Freeze Club". I bring my handy velour jacket whenever we go somewhere with A/C onboard. It's a little dressier than a hoodie and not bulky. In the MDR I have a dressy black sweater that I bring. In the cabin we turn the A/C to a more comfortable temp. Just have to check after the cabin attendant makes up the room - they always try to turn me into an ice cube!

Yes Donna - Mitch will be returning to the Majesty after his vacation. He is now the main CD on the ship and no longer a "fill in".

Was just on the Majesty. Mitch told me his replacement during his vacation will be Jerome.
