We are considering booking later in the year, on one of the big ships. Havent tried them yet so are curious as to who likes which suite best and why? I think I like the idea of being close to Seabourn Square, but really have no idea where to try to get a reservation. Any ideas?
After having spent over 300+ days on Seabourn, many of them on the big ships, my opinion is to book the cheapest category available. As the "big ships" are actually relatively small, location is not really a factor and as Holland-American is zealously degrading and cheapening the product, going as cheaply as possible is the smart play, imo.

Hi All,
We have been sailing on Regent but decided to give Seabourn a try. Traveling from Valparaiso to Fort Lauderdale Jan 31, 2012 and would greatly appreciate more info on referral coupons.
I can provide a coupon as we're cruising on Seabourn again in early January....can be contacted for details at spencerjoanna@yahoo.com

Can coupon be used in addition to shareholder credit? We'll know in the next week if we'll be booking 14 day south American cruise on the Sojourn.
Yes it can be used along with the shareholder credit benefit.. I can provide a coupon if you need one...e-mail at spencerjoanna at yahoo.com

The only problem is that the masses might see these offers and get onboard.:D
There goes the neighborhood..... :eek::eek::eek::eek:
The great unwashed have been sited more frequently at increased numbers and with Wal-Mart pricing it can turn into a stampede.
During the Sojourn world cruise, Seabourn sold small 7/10 day segments within & between Australia and NZ ports in the local market only, as the ship filled up while the service and the character sharply declined. It was discovered that these short-term pax, paid somewhere between $175-$200 per person, with some world cruisers paying double that and more. As word spread and the savvy ones who complained, received hefty refunds and credits.

Yes but I would book the first cruise on a single and apply the referral credit to that booking and add him after final payment to the booking and put both of us together on the second booking together and apply his referral coupon to him since he is a first time cruiser on Seabourn.
Hmmm...don't have an answer for the plausibility of that scenario

Quick question for all you Seabourn "guru's". Since we are doing back to back crusies and neither have us have sailed on Seabourn before we are going to apply one coupon to one booking and another to the other booking one for each booking under one of our names. Does anyone know in there past experience if this has worked and or any problems in doing this?:confused:...apparently it's a legal is what my TA told me?:confused:
Now I just need a good TA that rebates back 12% comission or more on these cruises!!!!;)
Haven't heard of that happening, but you can try.
Based on my interpretation of coupon referral guidelines, you and traveling companion are eligible because you're a new Seabourn cruisers on the first cruise, on the B2B cruise, you are no longer new to Seabourn cruisers.
