Anybody on here going with us in 7 days, 23 hours, and 34 minutes (who's counting) around the horn on Rhapsody of the Seas? :D

We also are looking forward to your review, as my DH and I will be boarding the Rhapsody on March 27, in Valparaiso. :)

How do you know? I can't find a dry dock schedule for Jade at all. She was just refurbed in 2011, that seems rather soon to do another?

We will be sailing on her in January 2017. Our travel agent said the Jade will be under going a complete reburb in October 2016 and it will be like a brand new ship! :cool:

I keep checking but I think the last one to start a thread is March 13, 2016. I just started a new thread in the wrong place. :( We think it will be a great cruise!!

Rhapsody OTS. Obviously I haven't started a new thread before and don't know how to post it in the correct place.

My DH and I booked this cruise in April. We have been waiting for someone to start a thread. Anybody else going with us?

We booked the Liberty repositioning cruise from New Jersey to Galveston 11/1/15. Booked the day it came out, called yesterday and got $1,100 off our balcony rate with the BOGHO special.

My DH and I booked the Liberty repositioning cruise 11/1/15 while we were on the NOTS this week. We are b2b, staying on for the next 9 days also.

I'm pretty sure they have done them in past, but not for several years. That said they are returning in early 2016 with (4) 14 night cruises on the Rhapsody of the Seas

 

February 14 - São Paulo (Santos) to Valparaiso

February 28 - Valparaiso to Buenos Aires

March 13 - Buenos Aires to Valparaiso

March 27 - Valparaiso to São Paulo (Santos)

 

Rates and itineraries are available on the RCCL website. You may have to be logged into your Crown & Anchor account to see them. I'm not sure they are available to the general public yet.

We just got off the Serenade and booked the 3/27/2016 cruise while on board. This is 2 yrs out.

Rose, we just got off Serenade, and were told Navigator was going to Asia not SJU. From other sources including an article in the Galveston paper, we're supposed to be getting Freedom in 2015 out of Galveston. Fingers crossed.

Yea!! We heard this from sources on the NOTS in December. We want to book that cruise if it is true.

Confirmation of that with Galveston residents over on the Galveston thread woohoo I see Freedom comin:

 

 

yesterday port of galveston approved the new

5 year agreement with rccl including a larger ship than voyager class.

And the terminal # 2 rccl will double in size

and improvements will be completed

spring 2015 which dovetails in with navigator

repositioning in spring 2015.

Where have you saw that the Navigator will be repositioning in spring 2015. We have heard about this and are anxious to know when RCL will be offering this for booking.

We did this last month on Freedom. It is maybe a 10 minute ride. To get to and from they put you in taxis, so you when the class is done, you can either head right back to the ship, or they give you the latest time they can send you back.

 

It was a GREAT time, and I highly recommend it. Hope it helps!
