Travel agent at Rotherham Parkgate refused to give my wife a brochure. He said the holidays could be booked but although the brochures were in stock they would not be put put until July ????

Oops we are flying from Manchester not East Midlands
-
We are on the same cruise flying from East Midlands. We usually book in three cases two normal size and one cabin size. You can pack a change of clothes for when you arrive in the small case. It is also handy at the end of the cruise as your luggage is collected in the early hours on the day you can use the small case for anything you need in the morning.
You can book in up to 3 cases each providing you don't exceed your total weight allowance.

You get your cases at the airport. Met a rep who will give you an envelope which will contain stickers and or a label for your cases with your cabin number on. Apply these to your cases and take them to your transfer coach. It is only a short trip to the ship. You will register and be shown to your cabin. Your cases will arrive sometime later.
Is it enchanting vistas you are sailing on.

Bad news I'm not taking my wallet so it should be pain free

A few tips we have picked up from cruise critic
Take some plastic suction hooks
Take an extension socket you will then only need one adapter
Travel hair straighteners
Take a small case in addition to your normal cases. You can book up to three cases into the hold providing you don't exceed the 20kg hold allowance. You can also take up to 7kg hand baggage. The small case is handy when you arrive as you can take a change of clothes instead of waiting for your cases to arrive. Also on the last night you have to put your cases out in the early hours so you can use the small case for whatever you need in the morning.
If you don't have an inclusive drinks package order a white rum and coke rather than a Bacardi and coke as it is slightly cheaper.

Any ideas of what to in Olbia. We have been here before in October and went on ships trip with the promise of some shopping. Unfortunately being October most of the shops were shut as the season had finished the previous month.

Visa required if the visit is 72hrs or longer. Not required for day visits if you have a British citizen passport

There is usually a port showcase on the day at sea. When you get info on the ports and what shore excursions are available
-
If you've not been to Dalaman before on the way back you go through security twice before and after checking in your cases.

We used the people mover in Venice and then bought an all day ticket for the water bus. Saw most of the sights and ended up a stop called lido which turned out to be a nice beach. Had a nice ice cream there for 1 Euro each

We sailed on the spirit June 15th. They had a sail away party and a deck party later in the week which was relocated to a lounge due to the weather.

Had no problems using top CashBack payments normally very quick. Also use holiday extras through top CashBack for parking and airport lounge.
