Do you have any contact information?

I know this will be guesses and I am fine with that but we have a cruise out of Rome leaving June 30, 2021 and we will be traveling one week prior.   I am hesitant to book airfare and rooms with everything up in the air.  Will we even be allowed to fly from the US to Italy (want to actually fly into France or Switzerland)??  Thoughts ???  Again, I know this is only spectulation.

Our cruise is June 30 - July 7th and are planning on 3 nights in Rome prior.  Our stops are Livorno, Cannes, Palma Majorca, Barcelona, and Naples.  I do think it may be extra busy with Covid cancelling all travel this summer.  I have been to Venice but the others have not.  Part of me is leaning towards Venice then when I look at pictures of the Amalfi Coast that looks amazing.  Part of me says to go to the Amalfi Coast while I can still do the steps...I am not getting any younger!  I am really torn.  I will have to investigate flying out of Naples.  I have not thought of that.  Thank you so much for all the advice.  I love these forums!

Excuse my ignorance.....Can I take a train from the Civitavecchia cruise port to Venice or Cinque Terre or do I have to go back to Rome??  Also, your thoughts on going to the Amalfi Coast for our last two nights?  Can decide on going north or south.  Love the thought of both the places you all suggested.

We are taking a 7 day cruise beginning and ending in Rome in 2021.  We have 2 weeks to travel and will add 3 nights to Rome at the beginning but are open to doing that at the end if that is better.  We need suggestions on where else to go.  We are in our 50's - 60's and in good health.  2 have never been to Europe.  We are also free to fly into and out of different airports.  Not really museum people but open for anything else.  Suggestions???

How much of a pain would it be to fly into West Palm Beach for a cruise out of Miami??  Airfare is much cheaper.

I received a CAS offer in the mail but never responded (forgot about it)  Do you ever get another chance or did I blow my chance for a free cruise??

We have two nights in Denali. After our second night we want to whitewater raft. That night we are staying in Talkeenta. Should we raft

at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm? Any pros or cons to either time?

While it says we will arrive in Seward at 5:00 am What time can we exit the ship? Could we make an 8:00 am Kenai Fjord tour???

We will be in Seward July 2 and Ketchikan on June 27. Can you suggest any guide or tours for fishing in Ketchikan?

We've enjoyed fishing in Ketchikan.

 

What we wore was based on the weather but a hat, a vest, long sleeve shirt and pants the times we did it.

 

In Seward we did other things.

Should we do a fishing excursion in Seward or Ketchikan?? It seems like there are other options in Seward and not as much in Ketchikan. Thoughts???

We have a group of 14 going. How can we get to sit together at dinner or can't we??

Maybe we just lucked out but we had to return our car at 9:30 so we headed over and got to the port about 10:00 and walked right in and were all checked in and boarded just after FTTF and were eating lunch soon after 11:00. I think it is all luck.

Did you book through Carnival and is that price with 4 in a room?? I think that is a great price and am looking at this cruise as well.

I just checked again and got a car from July 8 to the 9th for $42. Prices have dropped.

I just checked for the same times. July 8th from 9:00 am. to 9th at 9:00 for $46.50 prepay but over $70 for just a few hours on Saturday. Going with Cortrans Shuttle ($20 pp) for the end of the cruise and still debating the beginning rental car.

Have your other daughter bring a friend and just use your daughter's who isn't coming birth certificate when check in. They will never know the difference! An 11 year old doesn't have picture ID so it will work.

Unless of course your other daugher is 16 or something.

I am a college professor. Take the day off of class. Just email your professor and explain the situation ahead of time. Most classes give you 1 miss. Do it!

The beaches will be very pleasant because you will have a nice breeze. I was there last July. Grand Turk is beautiful and the beach is all sand. There are lots of beach chairs and some umbrellas. You will not have trouble getting a chair and shade. Did not go to St. Thomas.

I still says the Miracle will sail out of LA in April of 2017. Now I am scared to book!

I like this cruise but out of Maryland April 1 has me worried that the day going and returning will be cold. Any thoughts or has anyone done this??? We had snow in Michigan the first week of April this year.

It says we arrive at Port Canaveral at 8:00 does that mean people can get off at 8 or they pull in at 8:00??

I am looking at a 11:05 flight out of MCO. I know that is really pushing it coming from Port Canaveral but the next flight is 8 hours later. Any chance I can make this flight or am I totally crazy for trying??
