  1. I bought a California Coastal cruise last year on Cyber Monday.  We leave this Saturday and are taking our son and daughter and their spouses.   Had $1.00 deposits, prepaid gratuities, and $100 each person OBC for a balcony..Also got a great price on the fare.  I'm going to for sure check and see if any of the cruises that I'm looking at right now will be included on a Cyber Monday sale this year.

  2. When you people get to 750 or 1,000 days sailing Princess let us know how you feel then.

I will feel like someone who has enjoyed their cruises on Princess and would hope that everyone gets the same enjoyment. I will use my perks, but not lose common courtesy. I understand not everyone behaves this way, but I have seen many that do. They may have sailed many days, but they don't own the ship. Didn't mean to start an argument, it was just an observation.

  3. I'm on a cruise in a suite, where at least 98% are "Elite" and I'm not!! I'll bet they all expect "special" treatment!! Get in line... take your turn.. be patient... be polite!!... Have a good time!

Exactly - We are Platinum nearing Elite status. I've seen these people who think they own the ship because they are Elite. I would never want to go ahead of someone who has been waiting longer than I have. Everyone pays for their cruise. I like the perks, but dislike the feeling of entitlement a lot of people exhibit. I don't get it.

  4. Thank you for this post. I just now checked the flights on Delta from Fairbanks to LAX (layover in SEA) for our September Cruisetour. It shows us leaving Fairbanks at 1:15 a.m. on Friday, September 14th with a connecting flight in Seattle at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 13th. Not exactly doable. Originally we were leaving Fairbanks at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. I've used EZ Air many times, this has never happened. Yikes! Thanks again.

  5. Yes, it shows up as a complimentary gift. I failed to mention this is an Alaska Cruisetour. I did some further research online and found an old promotion that included Cruisetour cash. It looks like it can be used in the hotels and lodges for food or in the gift shops and also on the train. Not a bad deal and a nice surprise.

‡ $200 Cruisetour Cash per person is based on cruisetour length, and applicable to reservations booked between July 7 and August 31, 2017, for any Alaska cruisetour 12-nights or longer. Offer is applicable to guests 1 and 2 in the stateroom. Guests with single occupancy will receive the per person amount of $200. Cruisetour Cash may be used on a single cruisetour only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used onboard the ship and expires at the end of the land portion of the cruisetour. Offer is non-transferable and non-refundable. It may be combinable with the Sip & Sail promotion. Cruisetour cash is quoted in U.S. dollars. It cannot be used pre-travel and must be used during the land portion of your cruisetour. Promotional certificate has no cash value. The bearer is responsible for any expenses incurred greater than $200, inclusive of gratuity if used toward a meal or beverage purchase. The voucher may be used at the gift shops, restaurants and guest service desks at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge, Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and McKinley Chalet Resort. In addition it may be used onboard the train between Whittier/Denali, Whittier/Talkeetna, Talkeetna/Whittier, Denali/Whittier, Denali/Talkeetna, Talkeetna/Denali, Talkeetna/Anchorage and Anchorage/Talkeetna. Offers are capacity controlled, and may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.

  6. My husband and I are booked on a 12 night Cruisetour with Princess in September. Princess gave us a gift of $200 each Cruisetour Cash. What can this be used for? My travel agent thought it was only for excursions, but I was under the impression it could be used for food or anything else in the lodges/hotels. Thank you!
