  1. We would like to spend the day at a beach resort in Cozumel for the day. We are in our 70,s so we would prefer not being around a lot of children. Looking for a beach  resort that offers buffet, drinks, transportation back & forth from the cruise port. Very safe conditions.

I read reviews on Playa Mia Resort, they were not great. Would like more information on other resorts.

  2. We will stay in Rome June 2019 (there will be six of us) We are staying at River Palace in Rome, for 5 days, then we will cruise with RC on the Oasis our first stop will be in Naples. When in Rome is it better to purchase a Faster Than Skip the Line pass to see the Vatican or Skip the Line Pass. (What is the difference)

Our first port will be Naples, we get in at 7:oo am & depart at  630Pm, we want to see the Amalfi coast, would like name of great tour company that will pick us up from port & guarantee us drop off at port before cruise ship departs the port. Would prefer not using RC cruise company, do not want to be on a large bus, would prefer small group of people. Thank you for your info!

  3. We & family (total of 6 adults) are flying to Rome next year (June 2019) We plan on staying in Rome for 4 days & are going on Royal Caribbean cruise on the Oasis on June 13. We already booked our cruise with RC. We still need to book airfare & hotel reservations (we want to stay at River Palace Hotel in Rome) Need some info if booking thru travelocity & expedia are good to book thru. We also need help in booking tours, in the past we always booked our tours with an independent when we got off the ship. That worked fine in the Caribbean, however, none of us have ever gone to Italy & we don,t know if it is a good idea to book tours thru independent or go thru cruise ship. We all want to see The vatican, sistine chapel, St. Peters Basicila & other sites. To see these sites do we purhase skip tickets to avoid lines. Is there an admission fee on top of the skip tickets. Would appreciate some help from fellow cruisers who have travelered to Italy & can share some good info with us! Thank You!

  4. We are planning on cruising with RC June.2019 doing Western Mediterranean, starting out of Rome (Civitavecchia.) We have gone on over 25 cruises but never to Europe.

Would appreciate info from fellow cruisers who have been in Rome.

We are thinking of either flying to Italy 3 days in advance to see more of Italy or seeing more of Italy after the cruise ends. What will work out better, consider luggage issue. I was told Rome is about 1 hour away from the port where the Oasis is sitting in, Also, is it better to book tours with Royal Caribbean or go with an Independent at the port. I have been told that RC will make sure we get back to the ship before it sails

We are both in our 70,s & get around well, just want to feelsafe in another country.

    Appreciate your comments!

  5. Our cruise on Harmony was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. We want to rebook for next year.I can,t get a straight answer from Royal Caribbean regarding the bed configuration. We want 2 rooms with beds near balcony door on Deck 6. I think room 6250 may have the bed near the balcony door but am not positive. I would like a list of other rooms near room 6250 that have the configuration we need. Our friends have medical issues & she will be taking a scooter onboard.

    Thank you for your help.

  6.
