  1. Is anyone else in the over 75 age bracket and finding it difficult to get travel insurance in NZ recently? I have had angioplasty and stents over 5 yrs ago and had a fully insured cruise in 2012 and currently fit and able to travel and I wish to go on another cruise 2015 from US to NZ. (OR Asia to NZ) I have tried but cannot get cover for my pre existing conds. Have tried so many co's lost count and even a broker who told me there is "no insurance product available in New Zealand that will provide the cover necessary for a trip to the United States or indeed anywhere and this has been the situation since the Christchurch earthquake and the ability of the local insurers to obtain reinsurance cover from the overseas markets"!

I'd be interested to know if others are having similar difficulties.

  3. Perhaps this might help? - http://www.cunard.com/cruise-ships/queen-victoria/accommodation/ (You need to click on each box to see the various categories. From that web page you can also access the QV deck plan) Regards, -S.

I had tried just about everywhere, incl right thru the Cunard site but no where could I find layouts or floor plans of actual suites - even my agent was surprised they are not given. thanks for your reply.

  4. We are looking to book one of the suites on Oriana 23/01/15, is the suite really worth the extra price over the mini suite?

Definitely, I found the full oriana suite worth extra cost.. Oriana getting a bit old now but looked at floor plans of suites on similar P&O ships I think layout of Oriana suite better.:)

  5. does anyone know where I can find pictures of suite or cabin plans of The Queen Victoria? I have tried searching on several sites incl Cunard without success. I got a copy of their brochure and even in there no floor layouts are provided. This seems strange to me. I know that most other lines provide cabin/suite plans in their brochures and on their websites why not Cunard:confused:
