We're (6 of us) are supposed to take off later this week for a week on with Viking down the Danube from Nuremberg to Budapest. This is our second cruise with Viking and we loved the first. However, we are all concerned about all the posts regarding the low water levels, the canceled excursions and how much time it seems people spent on a bus versus on the river. Has anyone returned recently from a Danube river cruise lately and how was it? Thanks. 

Several family members are on the Viking Helvetia Rhine Getaway over Thankgiving 2012. Any suggestions you have to offer are greatly appreciated. Love getting all the "scoop" from past cruisers!
