We were just on the Bliss is a Club Balcony suite. We thought the bed was very uncomfortable. Perhaps the bed had not been replaced yet? We were in the Haven in the Bliss last November and the bed was heavenly.

No. Still hoping. Funny thing is I looked at the NCL website to see if the rooms I bid on were sold out and it shows the date of the cruise as 2/19/22 - 2/26/22. Strange.
-
So happy to see NCL has opted into the CDC’s voluntary program. I for one think it’s the right thing for them to do.

Metuken, do you have children? 😁
If a family member of any age (let's say you're traveling with your mom, for instance) was sick and quarantined to their cabin, might you go to Guest Services to try and obtain information for them?
The attitude from Guest Services had nothing to do with privacy concerns. But thanks for your thoughts. As a mom, if I couldn’t reach my daughter, I would absolutely have tried to obtain information on her and my daughter is in her early 40’s! Sorry but when she’s sick, I go into full mama bear mode.

Thank you for your review! I am assuming this was 1/3/21 cruise?

Got our email today for our 2/20 cruise on the Bliss. I for one am glad they are testing at the port through February. I won’t be surprised if the next email says the cruise has been cancelled. Glad we went in November before the variant hit.

We hope and pray that your family and all others get home safely and recover quickly.
There is no excuse for any Cruise Line to exercise 'Dereliction of Duty.'
My definition of 'Dereliction of Duty' is:
Take care of each guest from the start until they return home safely. Follow up after that.
Remain open to all communications to ensure that the guest(s) is able to contact and obtain valid resources as necessary. That means a Toll Free Number that is manned 24/7 with qualified personnel to answer medical, housing and travel information.
I'm sure I will get all types of non-compassionate remarks from some. If you have no compassion, just bypass this posting. If you have your snarky comments, keep them as you need them.
I couldn’t agree more. The lack of communication by NCL is unconscionable. People will go along with the program if they are informed what the program is. It’s the unknown that angers and scares people. Very bad form from NCL. And it makes me sad having cruised NCL 15 + times in the last 10 years. Not what I would’ve expected at all.

We’re scheduled to cruise 2/20/22 on the Bliss. We’re hoping for the best but prepared to cancel if things don’t improve. We’re in wait and see mode. We cruised in November and it was absolutely wonderful.

I would be totally fine with it. My husband always says he doesn’t care if we ever go into a port. After 20+ cruises, we’re now all about the ride not the destination.

Aaand there we go... sideways!
Imagine some of the (tipping) discussions on CC going on in real life on board, in the stateroom hallways between random cruisers.
That would be scary!

Billslowsky, you’re probably right about that. LOL. Silly me, I thought my question would elicit a yes or no answer. My mistake.

And as you were told, tip however much you want, to whomever you want, any amount you want. Each of us have a different combination of those three parameters that we go by. WHht is right for you is what you think is right for you.
Oh good lord lighten up. I simply asked if the gratuity was added automatically to the dinner bill. I assure you I already understand that I can (& do) tip anyone I want, any amount I want, whenever I want, wherever I want.

Having the same problem. I emailed ncladmin at ncl.com and got an auto response giving suggestions to try that have already been done. ... Haven't heard anything further. Not sure how to proceed... Wait for an answer from tech support or call a rep (just worried that overlapping hands will mess things up.)
I would call Tech support. I was in the phone with them for about 15 minutes and the problem was solved.

I had a similar problem when I sailed the Jem back in Sept. Had to call NCL & have rep reset them. Once done, my eDocs appeared immediately. Quick/easy fix for me
Thanks! That’s what I did this morning and it was quick and easy. It’s all done, printed and put in our cruise folder. Come on November 7th!!

I can’t wait for your review! We leave on the same trip on 11/7 and I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. Have a wonderful time!

I guess I’m getting old and forgetful 😳Although we’ve cruised 20 + times, neither my husband or I can remember if tips are included when eating in places such as Cagneys on the dinner package. We’ve always left tips in the past in cash for our waiters so I’m assuming they’re not included. Am I correct?

No mustard on board lol
Kidding!
You watch the video at home. Then once cleared, you check in at your station.
To view anything on your stateroom television, you have to watch the 10 minute video again.
Funny! We always referred to it as the mustard drill.

Looks like Canada is still requiring testing if your cruise is stopping in any of their ports. Seems like a waste of time (we most likely won’t even get off the ship in Victoria) but it is what it is. My tests came last week and appointment is set so I’m good to go. I do wonder though, if that changes, did I just spend $90 for nothing?
